As the Alpha of Midnight Moon, my first priority is protecting my pack, not finding my mate. So when we are threatened by Dark Eclipse pack, my goal is to keep the threat away. There’s no two ways about it. Not only are Alpha Kradick’s warriors more practiced than ours, he has way more of them. 


Not to mention, I just assaulted him, which probably didn’t help him to see things rationally and calmly. Who knows? Maybe if I didn’t hit him as hard as I could in the groin, he might’ve been willing to turn the other way and let us all go quietly into the night.


But no, I had to go and smash his manhood up into his small intestine. Now, as soon as he caught me, he was going to rip me in half.
