The Night, as the people of Fallbank called it, was when Palmer's family opened their house to celebrate the anniversary of Jim and Vallory's marriage. For the record, that particular event was bigger than the town's anniversary.

Although, considering the lack of enthusiasm the town folk put forth every year they tried to celebrate it, no wonder Palmer's marriage anniversary was a hit amongst people.

That being said, all of Fallbank's citizens were indirectly invited to come and enjoy the feast Palmer's had in their house on top of the hill. So, it was no wonder people made the occasion special and dressed accordingly.

Freshly pressed old suits and oversized rented ones – all men got them. Even her younger brother and father – especially her father, because, let's be real, the Hawkins patriarch only had one suit he wore at this time of year.
