Chapter 77

Jenny's POV

I looked around the grounds to the cabin and found Aden curled up under the deck. With a sigh I crawled under with him and gathered him up in my arms.

"Is dad mad?" He asked his little face sad as he hugged onto me.

"Yes. More at your language than what you were meaning to say. Where did you hear those words?" He shrugged.

"The warriors… they say dad thinks with his dick too much." I rolled my eyes.

"Well… don't say things like that until you're old enough to understand what they mean." He nodded.

"I know what it means." I stiffened slightly.

"Really? How do you know?" He looked at me.

"Lisa told me and how baby's are made and why dad likes her…" He frowned. "I don't understand how dad putting his thing in her makes either of them happy… I thought it would hurt since she screams so much." I felt my face begin to blush.

"You should forget about it until you're older. Kids don't need to know these things." He nodded.

"Would I have to do it?" I sighed.

"No… you don't have too but you might want to when you get older." He frowned and shook his head but didn't say anything. "We should head back. Your dad will be worried about you." He nodded and we crawled out from under the deck.

"When will Danica be back?" I shrugged.

"I'm not sure. I think she'll be coming back with you guys on Saturday after the match." He grinned and jumped to his feet.

"I wish she could watch the match too…" I stretched up and took his hand as we walked back towards the pack house. A car on the road to town caught my eye and I stopped.

'Mathew? Did Derick just leave the packhouse in his car?'

'What?' I looked back to the road.

'I thought I saw his car go by.'

'Let me check.' I walked with Aden as we got to the forest. 'Shit. He's taken the car... He did ask me to baby sit tonight…' I rolled my eyes and let a sigh leave my lips.

Derick's POV.

I don't know what I'm doing. My head is all around backwards and now I find myself in my car driving towards the city. With a sigh I pulled over to a picknick area and parked. I wiped my face then got out for some air. With an angry sigh I paced back and forth.

'What the fuck are we doing?'

'We need to find Danica!' I nodded as my wolf sat up front in my head.

'Why? You don't like her when she's here.' He growled but kept watching the road.

'Move!' He demanded. I sat in the drivers seat and leant forward as I place my head in my hands.

'Ok Murphy… what do you think about Danica and Lisa?' My wolf remained quiet sitting at the front of my head.

"Fuck it! You want me to go after Danica why?" I sat up and sighed realizing I had shouted out loud.

'Mates… maybe…' Murphy whined. He seemed just as confused as I was. Reluctantly I got into the car and pulled out of the picknick area and drove on towards the city.

Rodgers POV.

'Dam I knew I shouldn't have let her mark me.' I had been pacing around my penthouse hoping for a message just to let me know she was alright. Bella had come over and was sitting in the kitchen at the island. I looked around and sighed.

"Do…" I began and she cut me off.

"Don't do anything." She gave me a look. "You said she felt like she needed to get away, I feel like she needs some space." She sighed. "Why didn't you ask me about this mark before you did it?" I bit my lip.

"Because I wasn't expecting it." I placed a hand to my head. "It kind of happened fast. With the kissing, fucking and then nibbling…" He shuddered. "I don't even think she knows what she is. She definitely didn't know anything about marks or she wouldn't have nicked me... god that was blissful torture…" I could see Bella begin to frown as she stood up and came closer to me.

"And you know what she is?" I bit my lip as she pointed accusingly at me. "You better spill the beans right now Mr. or I'm going to toss you off your own balcony." She growled and I smirked but I didn't know where to begin.

"She's a Rogue Alpha… and a high alpha at that…" Bella slapped me hard enough to send me to the floor.

"And you fucking never told her!" I looked up.

"I had my suspicions but she has no wolf!" I got to my feet. "Even she said she was a half werewolf. Who was I to argue with that? It wasn't until she began to beat opponents that a normal half wolf couldn't that I suspected things were up. But then I thought she was a Beta at tops." I rubbed my jaw as the stinging sensation still hadn't gone.

"When did you know she was an alpha?" I looked to Bella her hands were noticeably shaking with her rage.

"I had no idea until she fucked me. Or rather when she told me she was rejected by an alpha." I hit the floor again as Bella swung a lethal slap that almost took my head off.

"You bastard!" she stood over me. "Why did you not tell her? Why didn't you tell me?" She gasped and held those lethal manicured hands to her face. "If she's an alpha that means she isn't a half wolf…" She looked to me and I nodded.

"Yeah… She's a full-blooded werewolf just with no wolf…" I sat on the floor. I didn't want to get slapped down again. "That's the only reason I agreed to her fighting the Bulldog. He's a lower Alpha." I was wrong, Bella caught me with her stiletto heel and pinned me to the floor by my shoulder.

"You… you… Gaaah!" She turned away and stomped off.

"Where are you going?" She glanced back.

"To take a shit!" She slammed the bathroom door leaving me on the floor. I lay on the floor and wiped the blood from my shoulder. It was true if I had voiced my suspicions before I brought her back here, like at the restaurant, things might have turned out differently. I shook my head.

'Bella… you do know if I told her she was an alpha nothing would have changed? I probably should have gone into a little more detail about the concubine mark but it was too late at that point, I was already partially marked and wasn't thinking straight.' I got up onto the couch then looked to my phone. Someone from the office was calling me. I dreaded what I was going to say as I answered.
