What Is The Gates Of Hell?

Bam Boom Bam!...

In the white indefinite space, one can see two figures who were doing many callisthenic exercises like push-ups, burpees, squats, sit-ups, pull-ups, and more. Thereafter, they'll then begin sparring with each other, and even though there wasn't any inhuman speed involved, one can still feel by the aura rippling out of their bodies, that they were incredibly strong.

"Haha, Leviathan was truly correct. When entering the Half-step Immortal realm, our speed would seriously slow down." Saber shouted out happily. Even though he was in his human form, the number on his chest still displayed four digits.

[1,201]

Those digits were written on his chest, as Aegon had the digits [970] written on his own chest. What caused Saber to be ecstatic over the past six days, was the fact that even though Aegon was unable to constantly evolve like himself, once Aegon is healed fully from any strenuous exercise or injury, he gains an increase in strength.

"Yeah, it's surprising how much slower our strength has increased. And to think that it'll slow down even more when entering the Immortal realm." Aegon followed up with a seemingly evil smirk of his own.

Haaa!

Aegon shouted as he powered up a massive red energy wave that exited his pair of hands and approached Saber with incredible speed.

Their casual spar instantly shifted into what seemed to be a life and death battle as their movements while still in human forms were multiple times faster than when they fought in their true forms.

Saber's hand-to-hand combat had made drastic improvements over the past six days as only a couple of days fighting Aegon was enough for his mastery to reach Aegon's level. From there, the duo then improved at incredible levels since they both were on somewhat equal levels.

Since they both would gain immense increases in strength after a sparring session, they were able to constantly become stronger.

"Ha...ha...ha..."Aegon huffed for breath after their sparring session had ended. Even though he was missing an arm, he cared little for such a fact since the healing machine would whip him back to top shape in a mere few hours.

Saber on the other hand had finally begun feeling hungry once more. Even though he technically had infinite stamina and energy, once he felt hunger, such a thing would disappear and he may even end up like Aegon.

"Well, I guess it's time we leave and rest for tomorrow's field trip into the so-called gates of hell." Saber said unenthusiastically. Aegon nodded as they stretched their hand out only for a flash of light to wash over their bodies and they then disappeared from the white room.

.

Walking in the hallway of the most prestigious school in this world was the duo of Saber and Aegon who had on their training clothing.

With their all-black clothing that covered everything from their neck down to their toes, plus the fact that they were adorned with black gloves and black steel-tipped shoes, it was pretty obvious that they both preferred black over any other color.

The number written on their chest was covered by a black chest plate, making it impossible for others to know their actual strength. After passing the many students of this school who gazed at the duo with shock because of their mere aura, they appeared in front of the doors of the office of the principal.

Without needing to do anything, the doors opened by themselves as Saber and Aegon entered with expressionless faces. It seemed that after what Saber referred to as the awakening, Aegon also had a cold expression on his face.

But, he seemed still seemed to be a battle junkie hence the reason he has a crazed smile anytime he fought. Anyway, with the appearance of the duo, the multiple figures inside the room shifted their attention toward them. Saber was slightly shocked by the fact that he could sense immensely strong auras palpating from the four figures in the room.

"Master, are these the two you were talking about?" A soft voice, akin to a whisper, entered the ears of Aegon and Saber. The words caused a smirk to form on Aegon's face, as he then said out loud.

"Yes, we are. I am Aegon, the strongest." Immediately after, Saber followed up.

"Sorry to burst your bubble but, unlike what you proclaim now, for the past six days, your body was brutally battered from 50% of my power!" Saber said while smirking. The others in the room began smiling when seeing their childish antics, making Saber and Aegon smile evilly in their mind.

"To be able to reach the half-step Immortal realm under 1,000 years of age, as expected of the sons of the president of the Chaos Dojo!" One of the figures said.

"Yeah, such talent, even we can't compare." Another followed up. Saber was slightly shocked by their modesty since it was a rare thing in cultivators.

"Okay, since you have arrived. Saber, Aegon, these four are my disciples. Red, Blue, Green, and White are their names." The principal said.

Saber immediately realized that the principal had a horrible naming sense. But, being able to see in the dark, and perceiving that these figures did have such color hair, Saber commended the simplicity of the principal since it'll be easy to remember such names.

The principal got to his feet and placed his hand behind his back as he exited the office. Seeing the four figures also following the principal, Aegon and Saber did the same.

Walking through the hallways of the school, the beautiful red and white garnered a lot of attention from the boys, and even though blue and green were rather handsome, how could they compare when near Saber and Aegon.

The duo, as per usual, was the center of attention. Yet, they cared little since Saber only cared about entering the so-called gates of hell while the battle junkie next to him only had...well fighting in his mind as Aegon kept repeating the many battles with Saber in his mind.

Soon, the group reached an elevator and after descending, what came into Saber's view after the doors opened was a large underground cave. There was numerous personnel who seemed to be a sort of defense force that guarded a massive black door that was floating in the middle of the underground cave.

Unlike the one Saber had seen in his first world, this one was quite a few meters shorter, yet the aura radiating from it was easily higher than the one from his previous world. As Saber's eyes lit up with interest, Borden then went on to ask the duo.

"You two are entering a gate of hell for the first time in your short lives, but, do you know how they are created. Do you know their reason for even appearing, or do you think it is normal for such cursed doors to be present in the world?"

Borden asked. Both Aegon and Saber shook their heads side to side, signaling that they were unaware. Borden smiled when seeing their reaction as he then shifted his gaze toward the doors and adopted a solemn expression.

"Not much is known about them."

He said. Right after, Borden continued since he saw Saber's deadpan expression.

"Not much is known but, the first gate appeared many years ago when this planet's first Half-step Immortal was born. Right after, multiple more gates began appearing."
