Mikki Auclair, Princess of the Royal House pack, is part of a prophecy that says she’ll possess a great power as a Luna, once she marries on her 21st birthday.
Max Grosvenor is the Alpha that her brother, the King, chooses for her, since her other option was a dangerous man. One that could put the entire Royal Family at risk if he put his hands on her.
Max is also her mate, but when he doesn’t show any signs of knowing about the bond, Mikki thinks that he only offered himself out of duty to the King.

It had been a couple of weeks since Mikki arrived at the safe house, and after her visit to the pack, she hadn’t left the mansion again.


Now, it was starting to feel less like a vacation and more like she was being kept captive, since she wasn’t able to go too far from the house. 


Max was trying his best to keep her company. They normally went for some jogging before breakfast, which lifted Mikki’s spirits a bit. She loved to do that at the palace, and it was one of the few habits that she still kept from home. Her entire routine had changed a bit though.


At the palace, she usually didn’t have much to do in terms of job, but she’d have her time filled with piano classes, painting classes, all types of classes that a princess could have. Now, she didn’t have that, but she had something else. Something that made her feel more useful.
