Destiny Voyager Module 7

(The Destiny Voyager M7 was in a disarray, maybe shock, confusion, disbelief or panic.....)

(The situation was so tense that you could even hear everyone's heartbeat, Richard was doing his best to control the situation so that it does not leads to total chaos, but there was only so much that he could do....)

(Afterall this situation was unprecedented and unfathomable)

"Did you get a hold of the 'ESTD' (Earth Space Travel Department)??" (Richard asked)

"No sir, the signals are still jammed"

"Fu*k" (Richard sighed quietly)

"What about the thing in front of us? Did they show any signs of movement?"

"Not yet sir! But we are receiving some weird cryptic transmission.... Are they coming from them? We think so, yes!"

"Captain I think you should retreat in full haste!!" (A flight deck officer said)

"Don't be foolish, we are a passenger ship, not a fighter ship. If we do anything stupid then they might see it as a sign of hostility and obliterate us...."

(Hearing this a deck officer starting sobbing)

"No no no, I don't wanna die, not hear, not now.... God please help us..... Please I beg you God, help us!!!!!" (His words panicked more people on the deck, and all of them started saying the same things about how it's there dooms day)

"Silent!!!!!!" (Richard ordered) "If we play our cards right then nobody's gonna die, of all the things we want mass hysteria is not one of them!!"

(While Richard was trying to calm his crew members a bloodcurdling screech was transmitted around the Destiny Voyager M7.)

Every body froze still after hearing that sound, even Richard felt his bones getting chilled by fear)

"Wha....Whaa...What was that?!? (A woman cried, her face had gotten pale and it looked like she might loose it any moment now)

"I told you we all are gonna die, it's a monster and it's gonna devour us all..." (The man broke down in tears)

"Hey what the hell was that sound?!?"

"What the fu*k is going on here, first we get stranded in deep space and now this"

"Shhh....Shhh..... Don't worry kids it was nothing"

"Tell us what is going on in the flight deck"

"Sir please remain calm, there's nothing to worry about, the situation's under control"

(All the passengers/settlers where spooked by the sound and started a huge up roar in the central area of the ship, while the on board crew tried to calm them down)

(Strange voices strated transmitted in the entire passenger ship)

"Captain, I think they are getting closer"

(Richard who was dazed by the sound, snapped out it)

"May day"

"Captain are you sure? Yess!! It's a May day!! Start the evacuation process this instant...."

"Yes sir"

(A deck officer immediately press a button and all the lights in the ship when red and a siren went off. It caused a chaos in the Destiny Voyager and every body knew what was going on.)

(Every passenger are briefed about the safety protocol before they even board a Destiny Voyager, the light and siren are part of the Emergency Evacuation protocol, all the staff members of the ship started rallying up the passengers and carried them to the designated chambers)

EARTH SPACE TRAVEL DEPARTMENT,

COMMUNICATION'S DEPARTMENT

(A man wearing a suit enters the room)

"Give me a status report, from the start to this moment"

"Sir, the Destiny Voyager M7 was traveling to Alpha Centauri b, (A some what habitable planet in the Alpha Centauri solar system) the Voyager was carrying new colonists to the Proxima Centauri b base in the mission titled Fresh Faces."

"The Voyager M7 is commanded by Captain 'Haruto Tanaka' and Vice Captain 'Richard Jones', with 25 on deck officers, 250 ship attendants and 4 mechanics... And the colonists? There are 1000 colonists on board the Voyager comprising of 400 men and 400 women who all age between 22 to 45 and 200 children aging between 2 to 15"

"Every thing was going smoothly but we lost all communications with the Voyager 26 hours ago, are we still able to track it? Yes sir, somewhat! What do you mean by somewhat?"

"Sir according to our current understanding and data analysis the Voyager is stranded in deep space approximately 2 light years from Alpha Centauri, so it's in between earth and Alpha Centauri!?! Yes sir!"

"Well that makes it tricky! it would take us at least 1 year regardless from where we send a search and rescue party."

"We decided to increase the number of colonists to be transferred and this happened, the background check of the colonists was thoroughly done right? Yes sir no doubt in that. What about the cctv footages of the ship! Did the analytical division find anything suspicious?!? Like peculiar or rowdy behaviour or miss conduct? No sir all the colonists were stable. What about the staff members? Nothing sir. And the deck crew? All clear."

"What about pirates? Seems very unlikely sir, there was nothing valuable on board that we can think about, but pirates have attacked Voyager ships before, recheck the background of every person on board the ship, we might have let someone of great value slip through our security....."

"On it sir"

"Jannet Head to the Analytical department youself and get run through the possibility of a pirate attack with them"

"Yes sir"

"Come on guys hurry up, you heard the man! Contact the necessary departments and get all the things that might help us, but keep this matter confidential we can't afford to get any information regarding this situation leak" (Jannet yelled)

"Nisha come with me we are going to the analytical department"

(Nisha and Jannet headed to the Analytical department)

"Can it really be a pirate attack Jannet? Maybe, as the man said there can be someone on board the Destiny Voyager who can be targeted by pirates."

"If it's a pirate attack then they are doomed, I still can't forget what happened the last time a Voyager ship was attack by pirates" (Nisha's face went pale saying that)

(Jannet and Nisha were walking on a skywalk which connected the Communication's department and Analytical department)

"Don't loose hope Nisha, there's also the possibility that the ship just malfunctioned, yeah I hope so to"

EARTH SPACE TRAVEL DEPARTMENT,

ANALYTICAL DEPARTMENT

"Ohh hi there Jannet, hi Paul (Paul was the head of 'Team Gama' of the Analytical Department, and his team was the one assisting Jannet on the Destiny Voyager M7 case." (Paul was a Canadian read head man)

"Did you guys find anything else?!? No not yet we are still analysing all the data that was received from the Voyager so far...."

"By the way Paul what do you think can be the cause behind this?!? I think it can be a malfunction in the ship aur maybe a human error.....!"

"Is there a possibility that the Voyager might be under attack of pirates? Pirates you say!?! (Paul started doing some brainstorming) Even if they where under a Pirate attack in deep space which in itself is a very big threat, there hasn't been any report of a pirate group possessing a technology which can hinder our communications and tracking this much!"

"But what if they really are under pirate attack, you can't be a 100% sure, right? You have got a point, ok come! due to the urgency and threat level we would have to run a 'simulation' of that scenario...." (The Analytical Department had a 'Quantum Computer' which they used to simulate scenario's in, you just needed to feed any thing that you want happening and it would simulate a scenario of what might happen, like an asteroid hitting a planet, it's speed, size, density, affect on the planet's topography, life forms, natural resources, aftermath of the impact, even the very minute changes that can happen to the planet, the future of the planet and it's life forms, the time it takes for everything to happen, in short anything and everything. The simulation's which the 'Quantum Computer' generated were upto 87% accurate)

"But there's a slight problem! (Paul exclaimed) What problem? You see the Quantum Computer is not something we can use just to clear a hunch, it's one of the Analytical Department's greatest asset's, we would need authorisation from the higher ups...."

(Jannet took out her phone, called someone and explained the situation and then proceeded to hand over the phone to Paul)

"Yes sir, right away sir!"

(A mail popped up on Paul's phone)

"Sweet!! Follow me ladies, if you don't mind!"

(Paul, Jannet, Nisha and 2 more people from the Analytical Department headed towards the Quantum Computer room. It was a huge room which currently consists of 12 floors, it was almost a building in itself.)

"What the he*l, It's.... It's amazing!!!" (Nisha exclaimed, it was her first time seeing the Quantum Computer)

"It's awesome, right Jannet!?! Yah whatever Paul let's focus on the task ahead please."

"Follow me then" (Paul took them to a sub room) "Markkk! Meet Jannet and ahh....!! Sorry but I didn't ask you your name!!! No no I should have introduced myself, I am Nisha Sharma!!, She's one of my best employees (Jannet said)."

"Mark we wanna run a simulation, a simulation!?! Yeah, here's the approval from the Department, ohh, nice! So what do you wanna run?

"Yeah about that...."

DESTINY VOYAGER MODULE 7

"Run"

"Calm down sir"

"This way every one"

"Don't leave my hand ok"

"Remain calm everyone"

"Get us out of hear"

"I don't wanna die"

"Do not panic sir, we don't want a stampede here"

(The Destiny Voyager M7 was in total chaos)

"What now sir? this is not something we were trained for"

"Sir the situation in the common areas are not looking so smooth"

"We should retreat, this instant"

"We should try to run away or we are all dead"

"Don't create a ruckus you guys"

"Captain!!! What should we do now Captain.....!!!"

(The situation in the flight deck was not looking good either, and suddenly a hologram appeared inside the flight deck.)
