Chapter 7

I can't control myself, I know this is wrong but I don't have the strength to push him off me.

I hear a growl,"Get away from her."

The wolf kissing me stops what he's doing and turns to look at Ray. Ray's eyes turn a full shade of gold, signifying that his wolf has taken control.

He growls, warning the wolf not to make any other advancement and the wolf quickly acknowledges him.

Another wave hits me and I whimper, gripping the floor.

It feels like my insides are on fire and a thousand bullets are being shot into me while needles are being pierced into my skin.

Ray rushes to my side holding me, " I'm here for you."

The other wolf has gone out of the room, giving Ray and I some privacy.

"I'm gonna turn on the cold water,then I'll come get you."

As soon as he leaves me,the agonizing pain comes back, making me cry out in pain.

"I'm here baby,it's okay."He hushes me softly. He picks me up and takes me to the bathroom.

"The moon goddess must hate me," I smile and he chuckles.

" I'm going to undress you,is that okay with you?" He asks and I nod in response.

He strips me and leaves me in my bra and panties,I hear a low growl and I know that he's battling with his wolf to stay in control.

"You are so tempting right now,"he whispers into my ears with his husky voice, sending shocks and tingles round my body.

He places me into the tub,after he's sure that I'm comfortable,he takes off his jeans and shirt, leaving him in his boxers and he slips in behind me.

The water and the body contact between us dulls the pain.

"I can't wait to mark you as mine, that'll show those unmated bastards who you belong to." He breathes into my neck while trailing kisses down it.

He settles on the spot where I'm supposed to be marked and sucks on it,causing me to moan.

He lightly nips on the spot and I moan out his name.

"If you keep moaning,I may take you right here kitten."

I gasp as he gently nips at my earlobe,the pain is dull now and I turn around, facing him.

I stare into his eyes and It seems like all my pain is being sucked into them. His eyes trail down to my lips and back to my eyes.

This is the guy that I'm trying to avoid, but what if he rejects me when he finds out who I am,or should I say what I am. Maybe not all wolves are bad. I guess I'll give him a chance.

His lips come down crashing into mine. They were soft and tasted of mint. The kiss started slow and filled with emotion. He stirred up a want and need in me,one that I had never felt before. I kissed him back roughly, pouring all the pain I was feeling into the kiss.

He slowly let go of my lips and I whimpered,"Please, don't stop." I wanted more,needed more.

"I would love to go on, but I have little control over my wolf and I don't want to hurt you,"he says lightly sucking at the crook of my neck.

He helps me out of the tub and helps me change into a baggy shirt and a pair of shorts. I notice how lust fills his eyes as he looks at me with adoration.

We go to bed and he holds me close to him,I snuggle closer. Heat is one thing I will never want to go through again.

Ray's POV

I wake up to the sound of someone breathing lightly. I look down at my mate,the moon goddess must have really loved me to give me this beautiful creature as a mate.

I trace my hands lightly over her cheek and give her a light peck on her lips.

Her eyes flutter open,"Morning."

"Morning sunshine, feeling better?" I ask.

" Yes, thank you." She whispers, blushing slightly.

" Thank you,for what?" I chuckle lightly," It's my job as your mate."

She doesn't reply and I notice that she's deep in thought.

"What's the matter,did I offend you or something?" I inquire.

"N-no you didn't offend me,I was just thinking."

" About what?"

" How you'll reject me when you find out what I am," she whispers,a tear dropping from her eyes.

"I won't ever leave you Violet, you're my love,my heart,my soul,my other half and my Luna. I will accept you no matter what." I assure her and I mean every word of it.

" Promise you won't leave me, promise you won't go away and hate me like the others did,"she sniffs.

" I promise," I look into her eyes,she may not trust me enough to tell me everything but this is a start.

"I'm part lycan."
