Morning came; ruthlessly casting a bright glow over the entire room. Vivian groaned, just wanting to sleep. It had been close to three in the morning by the time she came back up to her room, Everett parting ways with her at the top of the stairs. She had to resist the urge to turn back around to see if he was watching her as she opened the bedroom door. The more time Vivian spent with Everett, the more she was starting to forget that he was a vampire. Nothing about him was vampiric. In fact, everything about him was human, despite his claims that he was currently more vampire than human.
