"Siana are you okay?" Kathy asked snapping her out of her deep thoughts.
She looked up with a forced smile and hummed as a response. The air felt stuffy as they pulled up to their final destination. Siana flung back the car door and stepped out of the car and onto the concrete floor with eyes that could burn one's mind. This was it the stupidest thing she would be doing throughout all her life, showing up at a random place with a box that held a mystery inside. She had no idea where she was, who she was going to meet and what was in the box.
Siana followed behind Lisa as Lisa followed behind Kathy. Siana scanned her surroundings in case something was to go down.
During her shaky steps up to the luxurious house that stood before her eyes her mind flicked, "This looks familiar," she whispered triggering a muscle contraction in Kathy causing her head to spin to her direction. "It does?" She asked startled.
"Yes. What game is he playing?" She asked herself with her hand on her chin still scanning her surroundings.
Kathy made her way up to the door and reached out her hand to the door ready to knock. The door was quickly opened. Kathy quickly ran down the steps and hid behind Siana.
"Oh good. Miss Jones you're here." A familiar voice popped up. Why was everything so familiar to her eyes and ears? Has she finally lost it?
"Aden?!" She asked shaking off Kathy from her shoulder. This was weird. Why would Aden be there? Why did Alexander want her to deliver a strange box to Aden? Was it a test to see if she would open the package?
"What the hell is going on?" She asked going up to the door. Kathy shyly followed behind her and watched as she handed the box to Aden and entered. Aden gave no response just a happy sigh as he turned towards the kitchen.
"Whose place is this?" She asked looking around. "You're here," a voice whispered.
Siana spun around at the sound of the voice that was buried deep in her head. The light in the room dimmed. Lisa and Kathy drifted away scared to see what happens next, they were shaking with fear. The silence highlighted his perfect image. Was any of it real?
Siana based in shock and fear. "Is that blood?" She asked with her hands over her mouth. She made small steps back until she could feel the edge of the counter poking her.
Alexander made his way up to her with an evil grin as he whipped his bloody hand into a towel. "So what if it is?" He asked now with a frown. "Are you scared of blood?" He finished throwing the towel on the ground.
Alexander looked at Siana's shivering body and leaned over to her. There was no air coming from her it was as if she stopped breathing completely. He grabbed the box, turned his back and walked away heading to a door that led outside.
Aden bowed and ran off behind him. "Was that real blood?" Kathy asked scooted up on Siana. Siana made no sounds she stood there frozen. "Why was he covered in blood? She asked herself, "You all saw that right?" She asked Kathy and Lisa pointing to the door. The box came to mind invading her disorganized thoughts. What was inside it?
Lisa walked up to the door and exited. "Where is she going, I’m scared. Can we leave now?" Kathy asked.
Siana wasn't in the world Kathy was she was trying to figure out what was going on. Before she could come to her senses her stupid feet had moved on its own landing her to the very same door Alexander disappeared through. The strong stench of blood flowed throughout the creases of the locked door. The sounds of screams thrilled her mind. Blood, screams, what was this psycho doing? She asked herself once one. At her second step all her fear had flown to the tips of her toes causing an adrenaline rush throughout her. The screams got louder and her body shivered harder as she widened her eyes more, bit her lips harder and reached out her long skinny fingers to the door knob.
"Miss Jones," a voice called. She spun around startled. "Yes!" She shouted. "You shouldn't disturb Alex while he's working." The voice whispered.
"I don't think I've properly introduced myself, I'm David Miguel, Alexander's father." The old man that stood before her said with hand in the position awaiting a hand shake. Siana observed him carefully ignoring the man's hand out stretched to her. Her memory was rebooted, the old man that stood before her was the man she met the night Alexander slapped her.
All the wrinkles, creases and corners that sat on the older man's face amazed her. She focused deeply on the older man's face. His green eyes, straight nose and David’s face went along with his wrinkles, creases and corners perfectly.
David Miguel retrieved his hand due to the excess pain he felt. Couldn't she see his age? She had seen him before so why was she amazed looking into his face? He was an old man that wanted to greet her with a simple hand shake and she decided to stand and stare at him rudely instead of respectfully shaking his hand and introduce herself properly.
"Miss Jones," the man whispered shaking her out of her thoughts.
"Ahhh!!!" Screams echoed from behind the door.
David tilted his head and looked over to the door then to Kathy's shivering body. He switched his focus to Siana's eyes widen with fear and flowed with tears. "Have you never heard a scream before?" He asked observing Siana's rapid eye movement.
"You are aware of the job you're husband do right?" He asked with his hands behind his back. Creepy scary sounds played in her head and her vision changed to far range and her eyes popped out as she spun around to look at the door.
