Amanda Heyes is a struggling children's book illustrator who is invited to look after her editor's remote mountain home for the winter. She hopes it will be a chance to paint and work without worrying too much about rent but instead finds herself drawn toward a huge white wolf and his two pups.

When the wolf turns out to be a shifter named Levi, everything changes for Amanda, as she quickly finds herself drawn to Levi despite his rough exterior. The Rogue Winter Wolf

	Amanda watched in horror as Jed was replaced by a huge gray wolf, tufts of white speckling his fur. He was huge; even bigger than Levi, if only by the slightest amount. His eyes were full of malice, and as his lip curled up to reveal his teeth, Amanda felt the fine hairs on the back of her neck raise in alarm.


	“You got this,” she whispered to Levi. 


	Now that Jed was out, the rogues would only be so far behind, and she knew it wouldn’t take long for them to hunt out the scent of the pups. Aside from Jed, no one had spotted her yet, so she turned on her heel and made a mad dash into the woods.


	Maybe she couldn’t protect herself from a pack of wolves on a good day, but she’d be d*mned if she let anything hurt the pups. She just had to make sure no one got to them while the rest of the pack hurried to their rescue.
