"You want to go see him, now?" Sol said as his heart began to race with several kinds of anxiety and a tinge of lust. He had drunk the Prince's blood last time they had visited his palace – a lair – he had to remind himself.
"We should get answers on what we can do with her. With the others. We need better tactical advice on how to take out the warehouse and they have already offered to provide it," Viv said. "They are our best option for quick answers."
"Quick isn't always better," Conlan countered.
"I think you are right, but we have too many vulnerable spots and we are too untrained. We can't rely on our own expertise here," Pat said finally voicing his opinion. "We have nothing to lose. We go."
"We should bring a gift this time," Sol said. "We always show up like paupers begging for help or needing to be saved. We should bring him something to show we aren't free-loaders, and that we respect his aid."
