I smile as I press send. Although I haven’t seen my adoptive parents since my mom revealed our identity to them, I’ve been keeping tabs through phone calls and text messages. Of course, I haven’t heard a word from Taylor, but I prefer it that way. The only thing I know about her is that she apparently got into a nasty fight with one of her girlfriends on campus, receiving a suspension from the school. It was a whole mess that I chose not to get myself involved with, but even though she’s been such an a*shole to me, I do hope she gets herself back on track.
