Job interview 1

The girls made themselves at home after Charles left. They ate, cooked and baked together, they also did not forget to call their parents who were in the states.

Charles arrived home earlier than usual, he smiled seeing his daughter and her friend watching a television show and discussing like they were real blood sisters.

"Welcome dad" Debbi was the first to notice her dad's presence

"Welcome sir" Steph greeted as well

"No! No!, it is dad and not sir" Charles corrected Steph who only chuckled and corrected herself

"How was your day?" Charles asked

"It was cool" Debbi replied and with that Charles went to his room to freshen up. After taking a cold bath, he joined the girls in the living room

"You know that you both did not come to London to watch tv?" Charles asked, the two girls looked at him simultaneously

"My wife told me your ambitions and why you are in London, so I went to make inquiries about any recognized Book firms who are currently employing people and I saw this one" Charles explained as he handed the flyer over to Steph since she was the closest to him.

They both read what was on the flyer together and were over-excited. "How do we apply dad?" Debbi asked

"According to the instructions here, they said we should apply online, the deadline is tomorrow, 12:am sharp" Steph replied before Charles could say a word.

"What are we waiting for? Let's apply!" Debbi exclaimed as she went to bring her phone to apply for the job.

Charles watched the girls busy with their phones, this was the joy of fatherhood, he was self that he could not make time for his family thanks to his job. Being a personal assistant to the wealthiest CEO was the most tedious job.

"Looks like they are online 24 hours, immediately I applied, I was sent a text message" Debbi muttered

"What is the message all about?" Charles asked

"We are invited tomorrow for an interview at 10:00" Debbi readout

"Seems like they need employees" Steph added

"Okay girls, it is high time you went to bed, you have to get enough rest for tomorrow's interview" Charles announced and the girls got up and went to bed.

The girls were up as early as 6:00 am, they were over-excited about their first job interview after graduation. They had a hard time choosing what to wear but at long last, they chose a black skirt and a blouse.

They finished dressing at approximately 7:38 am and went to the sitting room. Debbi could not find her father after calling his name severally, there was no response from him. Just then she checked her phone and saw that her father had texted her a message around 4:00 am that he was off to work.

Debbi was beginning to find his job overbearing, when her mom said he was always busy, she did not know that it was up to this extent. Her father needs some time to cool off, if not…, she did not want to think about anything scary right now. She had a job interview to attend.

Lynch Novels is an offline and online reading platform, where readers read and authors write. It was well known for its ability to pay writers well and where readers can get the best books, both e~book and paperback books.

The building is located at the estate, it is a glass building, a skyscraper in particular. The whole place just screamed expensively and for some moments the girls doubted that they would be able to get a job here.

The extremely large room, which had different counters and different people busy with their system welcomed Debbi and Steph. This place was beyond fascinating for the duo.

"Good day," a female greeted them as they advanced to her.

"Good day" the girls greeted simultaneously

"My name is Bella and I am the receptionist, how may I be of help to you?" Bella asked

"I am Deborah and this is my friend Stephanie, we applied for ane and we were asked to come today" Debbi replied

"The time says the interview would begin by ten but this is just eight, did you get the information wrong?" Bella asked

"No we didn't, we decided to come early to avoid stories that touch the heart" Steph was quick to reply

"Alright then, take a seat over there" Bella pointed at the set of chairs opposite them.

You would never know how slow the time ticks except when you are waiting for something or someone, or when you are tired of a particular thing. Ten minutes would turn to ten years

Debbi and Steph kept on checking the time and it seemed like the time wasn't ticking at all! It seemed like they had been here for ages. Who asked them to come way too early?

Finally! It was ten and the interview began. About one hundred and twenty people applied for the job and the funny thing is that only three would be selected.

Good luck to whoever gets the job!.
