“Thank you, Your Highness.”
“You don’t have to thank me.” Prince Cerulean finally lets go of my hand. Though when he does, I start to really feel the cold of the palace.
We take a seat on opposing couches and stare at each other.
I clear my throat, “I was looking for you in hopes that we could talk about the Duke.”
Prince Cerulean raises a brow. “The Duke. You’re here with the Crown Prince of Loreilei and you want to talk about my uncle?” He questions.
I cough and shift in my seat. I want to say I’m uncomfortable but the cushion of the couch is a mix of firm and soft that makes my eyes heavy.
“Yes. He was outside protesting this morning.”
“I am well aware.”
“Well, I was pressed about my involvement as well.”
Prince Cerulean frowns. His light blue eyes grow dark and hard. “By who?” He asks.
“Lina. I think she suspects that I’m your Twin Ray. She’s even got the rest of the kitchen on her back.”
