Hoffman’s archeology crew was thrilled to hear about the upcoming party.
“Brennus,” Arras called to his friend. “It’s your turn to make the meal.”
“Venison?” Brennus asked.
At Arras’ nod, Andrew asked thoughtfully, “Again? Not that I’m complaining, at all. Do you have your own herd of deer? You guys eat a lot of venison.”
Aedan laughed, “Yes, the Mordhas family has had a large herd of deer on their land from the very earliest times. When the herd gets too big, we have parties like this where we feast and celebrate good times.”
“Well then,” Stephen piped up. “I think we need to dress up nice for this feast!”
There were cheers of approval and excited chatter.
“You will be sharing this supper with several of my work associates,” Arras said loudly, over the noise. This knowledge did little to dampen any party spirits.
“The more, the merrier!” Andrew shouted.
