As a matter of necessity, the children in the orphanage were distributed amongst the residents who volunteered to have them for the time being whilst their home was being disinfected. Obaa Yaa stayed with Asabea and her family and they took very good care of her whilst the proprietress recovered from Covid 19.

“This is what I've always wanted," she said, excited. “To live with my friend. I hope it lasts long although it will mean our mistress staying longer in hospital. She said this because her conscience troubled her because of the words she spoke. How could she be happy that someone was ill so she could be excited? A few days after the proprietress was well enough to be discharged, there were other complications which made her case worse, making Obaa Yaa feel worse about the statement she made. Could it have brought her much favour? Asabea's father had the proprietress transferred to his hospital so he could monitor her progress closely.
