Unexpected Gain

In a dark room, the beautiful green moon shone onto Blade's dazzling features as he followed the breathing technique of the Chaotic Body Supreme Art, a technique his system claimed to bring any half-decent talent to the level of a Universal powerhouse.

Of course, a half-decent talent in the eyes of the system and a half-decent talent in the eyes of mortals were two different kinds of half-decent talents.

Anyways, Blade had a dazzling smirk on his face as every so often, one would hear mini explosions originating from inside Blade's body.

Boom!

You see, Blade was currently skyrocketing his cultivation ever so casually as he absorbed a Cosmic Will with utter ease while activating his Chaotic Body Supreme Art. He did it soo casually though, he was also shocked to his core.

He didn't know how it was possible but, he had suddenly realized he could absorb the Cosmic Will, making it possible to harm the Limitless Sky Sect without any repercussions the most striking thing was the ability to now move from a Low-Level Martial Art Disciple realm to well...

His cultivation was still rising even after reaching the peak of the Martial Art Disciple realm so he didn't know what realm he'll be in by morning.

...

...

Upon his stroll through the Outer Region, Dolion received many stares from both males and females. He was naturally aware of why it had been like that since he had experienced such things back at Heavenly Demon Sect too. Instead of making him uncomfortable, he instead enjoyed it very much...

Hehe...

'All you people can do is watch... You can only remain as side characters in my world as only I, am the main character... no, there's also Blade... in this world, there is only Blade and me... all others are to make up numbers...'

With these thoughts, he soon appeared in front of a tall building radiating with Battle Intent. And, over the doors of the building, the words, "Battle Hall" was written in capital letters as Dolion walked in without any change in expression.

It seemed like he had been here already as everyone he passed nodded to him with a smile on their face. Dolion also returned a calm yet charming smile back at them as if to keep up appearances. He was, after all, a kind and caring person.

Walking up a stairway, he was led to a brightly lit-up hallway with multiple doors on either side of the walls. Dolion didn't stop walking and approached the last door at the end of the hallway. Upon his presence, the doors naturally slid open, revealing a massive space filled with trees and a flowing river with pristine clear water.

The scenery was immaculate as there was even a fake sun hanging up in the skies. No matter how many times he saw it, Dolion still had a shocked expression on his face when seeing the level of abilities whoever created this place had.

But, what truly brought a smile to his face wasn't the scenery but the quantity and quality of Life Energy here. It was this fact that made it possible for him to cultivate a speed tens of times faster than what he would usually be able to. It was because of this that he was inching ever so closer to the Martial Art Disciple realm and opening his Lower Dantian.

'With this, maybe, I can even surpass Blade's monstrous speeds...' Dolion thought. If any other person heard his thoughts they would most probably cough up blood due to rage. He was already cultivating way too quickly compared to others yet, he wanted to quicken such speed?!

"Oh, what brought you here today?" Suddenly, Aurel's voice entered his ear and in the next second, her figure suddenly appeared in front of him. Dolion held a deadpan expression as he asked, "I came in quietly while you weren't anywhere close, how did you sense my presence..?" It's always been like this, as if, he couldn't hide his presence in front of the senses of his master.

"You aren't even a Martial Art Disciple while I am a Martial King, six great realms higher than you. I have lived for many millennia, now tell me, do you think that a little brat like you who is new to this world can evade my sense?"

Hearing her words, Dolion could only remark...

Sigh!

"No wonder Blade's master always calls you an Old Hag..."

THRUM!!!

The ground under his feet rumbled as cracks began appearing. A majestic aura washed over his body causing him to unconsciously tremble... "Oh, master... you know I'm only jesting... You're the most beautiful young lady I've seen..." Dolion quickly followed up. His eyes were moist as if ready to cry as his high-level puppy eyes caused even the Dao Heart of Aurel to falter.

In an instant, Aurel's aura dispersed as Dolion heaved a sigh of relief.

"So what have you come here for again?" Aurel, this time dejectedly, questioned Dolion's intentions as she turned her back and approached an open field with lustrous grass. Dolion followed behind and replied... "What else would I come here for? Of course, it is to spend some time with my great master, while we cultivate together and exchange stories..."

Tsk!

"We bought know you're here to simply leech off of the pure Life Energy here to quicken your already perverted speed of cultivation. You don't want to simply equal that other brat's speed but surpass him completely..." Aurel said while sitting on the grass in a meditative position. Her body ever so slightly levitating off the ground as Dolion watched this scene with visible greed.

"Well, what can I say, he is simply that much more of a monstrous talent compared to me. Even if you people think my speed is unreal, let me tell you that his talent is simply not reasonable."

While following suit and sitting in a meditative position, Dolion replied. Aurel's next words though, caused him to shoot up to his feet in both shock and excitement...

"Speaking of Blade, did I forget to tell you he's already in the Outer Region..." As Dolion heard these words, his facial expression changed as he shot up to his feet before calmly walking to the exit of this haven for cultivation... His last words were, "Master, it seems I'll have to leave a little earlier than expected..."

As the doors opened and his figure disappeared, Aurel smiled mysteriously. Not even a minute later, the reason for her mysterious smile became clear as Dolion reappeared and with a blush of embarrassment on his face, he asked...

"Exactly where is Blade staying at..?"

...

...

"Hmmm..."

Sitting in the same meditative position from the night before, Blade hummed in confusion as he recalled the words of his master.

The Lower Dantian was a space to store incredible amounts of Life Energy. To enter the Martial Master realm, one must refine all the life energy located in the Lower Dantian into a strand of condensed Life Energy.

With green representing Life, and black representing Death, when one condensed their life energy into a single strand, it'll be a Green strand yet, what Blade was seeing here was a Golden strand of Life Energy but...

But, the confusion didn't end there...

Beside the Golden strand of Life Energy, representing he had entered the Martial Master realm, there was also a White strand of Life Energy...

'Well, would you look at that...'

'Immortality isn't present but my lifespan is quite high...' Seeing this, Blade felt as if a weight on his back had suddenly disappeared. But, he still didn't have an answer for the two strands of energy, and even though he didn't want to ask his master, he wanted to find out the reason why this happened... if it would harm him in any way.

[Ding]

Suddenly, the system's sharp voice entered his mind.

[The host need not worry... This is something that will greatly benefit the host in the future. For now, the host will suffer from slow cultivation compared to how you previously cultivated but, remember that in the future your benefits would be ten times what it originally was going to be...]

Hearing the system's words, Blade wanted to dart questions at the system like... What benefits was it talking about but, just as he was about to interrogate his system...

Knock knock!!

A knock on the door, brought Blade's attention away from his system as he asked.

"Who's there?"

"Ice cream." A voice replied.

"Ice cream who?" Blade questioned.

"Ice cream all night if you're lucky." The voice said...

"..."

"..."

Both Blade and his system mentally sighed at the cringe-ass dirty joke from Dolion. Blade even gave him a chance at this joke by playing along but, was this truly the best he could have thought of...
