It had been a few minutes since his disappearance from the meeting hall yet, everyone still seemed rooted to the spot in shock and also embarrassment. Especially the two Overseers... There was a reason why they were embarrassed and not angered by Astral's arrogance.
Between Holy Son and Overseer, the former had much more status in the grand scheme of things, and the one who had just berated them had an even higher status than just a Holy Son.
In a powerhouse organization that could survive outside this celestial body, he still had an incredible status as a genius who appears once every generation.
He was one of the rare geniuses who had entered the highest mortal realm in less than one hundred years and even though some time had passed since then, and his peers had already surpassed this realm, his power was still able to match theirs.
It was a fact that he'll enter the next realm and it was also obvious that, by the time he enters the realm above, his strength would be many times higher than his peers hence, he was considered a True Holy Son.
The scariest part about him though was his personality. It was a weird one as he chose to descend into a minor world like a green star planet instead of entering the vast universe to quicken the speed of his cultivation.
People like him had eccentric personalities and it could cause one's downfall if they had unknowingly angered someone like him.
He who had the backing of some incredible powers in Limitless Void World was someone these Overseers couldn't dare offend.
"You two! Hurry, don't keep the Overseer waiting, go get his disciples and carry them to him!" The Sect Master hurriedly ordered Aurel and Jin, not even referring to Dolion and Blade as their disciples any longer.
The duo hadn't a choice in the matter, they could only follow the Sect Master's orders and go hand over their one-way ticket to a supreme status in this world.
...
...
Sitting on top of a bed were two figures, their backs resting on the other as they meditated peacefully. At this moment, for the first time since he began cultivating, Dolion cultivated seriously.
He followed the cultivation technique his servant had imprinted into his mind to the tee.
At the current moment, his cultivation speed was even comparable to Blade when he was forming his dantian.
It was a pity that he had been wasting his time for the past few years in the Heavenly Demon Sect otherwise, with a few years of this type of speed in cultivation, his current power would have been much higher.
At the same time, inside Blade's dantian, the two strands of Life energy, the golden and white strands currently seemed to slowly grow longer.
From tens of centimeters to tens of inches until it reached as large as a meter. From then, it slowly shrank, yet the amount of Life energy it radiated rose.
Even though it eventually reached the same size as it was before, the aura it radiated was much more overbearing. Blade's eyes opened, in one eye, a faint white aura, and on the other was a faint golden aura as a smirk appeared on his face.
"Finally... When the system's level increased, my soul always underwent immense pain, and now I've seen the reason behind it. Every time my soul was improved due to the level of the system rising, it seemed the overall quality of the Life energy inside my body also rose."
Slowly standing to his feet, "This is the reason why I was able to defeat that Dick relatively easily."
When they said quality over quantity, this is what they meant. Yes, the Dick had much more Life energy than Blade but, Blade's Life energy was much higher in terms of quality, making it much stronger than the average fellow's Life energy.
Knock!
Suddenly, before he could walk to the kitchen and prepare some food, a knock on the door that slightly startled him, entered his ears.
His cold pitch-black eyes darted to the location of the door, and since the whole cabin wasn't big, the distance between him and the door took a few breaths of time to reach and open it.
Opening the door, he saw a pair of familiar figures. His eyes contained traces of surprise since he didn't expect these two to appear in front of him... What exactly could they appear here for?
He didn't know. "Am?" His confused voice entered Jin's and Aurel's ears. Currently, they were weirdly staring at him. He wondered what he did to cause this...
He wasn't worried though, no matter who they were, even if they were Elders, after the performance, he showed yesterday, he was confident that no one in the Sect would provoke him.
Even if a righteous character was offended by his arrogant demeanor and absolute humiliation of the corpses of his previous opponent, inside the Limitless Sky Sect, Blade understood he was safe.
"How to put this..." Jin weakly said. His eyes were slightly dead and seemed as if a great treasure capable of changing his fate in this dog-eat-dog world, had suddenly been taken away by a young master with an invincible background.
"You and the other brat would be no longer our disciples!" Aurel coldly stated, lacking any type of emotion. Her anger practically spewed out of her eyes... Staring at the root cause of the whole event, she barely held herself back from strangling the boy named Blade Pure-Heart.
Silence...
Hearing the shocking news, Blade's expression was one of utter shock. It was incredibly easy to adorn a shocked expression, so it was not much trouble for Blade to act like this.
Truthfully though, Blade had long expected this and actually hoped for it to happen, when he had decided to make a name for himself in this Sect.
Honestly, to be fully safe, he needed to show all of his talents. Since this wasn't a demonic Sect, but instead a neutral one, he wasn't worried that there was a mysterious figure ready to plunder all his talent at the moment he had ripened to his fullest.
And, even if there was one, he still thought of ways to escape this person's grasp.
Of course, he was confident that by the time he ripened fully, and his potential was at its peak, he was confident his strength would be something that a mere little hidden chess piece would be unable to plunder for himself.
So right now, hearing this news, even though he acted shocked on the outside, he was cheering happily inside. After all, if there was someone who could take away him from Jin's grasp, it meant this person had a status higher than a mere Elder.
It definitely wouldn't be a Chief Elder either. Even if it was a Chief Elder, it would one of the stronger Chief Elders... Blade thought of this. If it was a Chief Elder, it must be one that was confident that he had enough strength to suppress Jin and Aurel completely.
"O...Okay, I understand..!"
To maintain a certain image, he replied with a short sentence. He couldn't say, "W-What do you mean! I want to be under your tutelage Master!!" If he said this, it would be obvious he was shitting in their faces.
All knew that he wasn't someone like this, plus, Blade couldn't get himself to say such words with the correct face. He would have exposed himself.
"Dolion's cultivating right now so it's best he isn't disturbed. I'll come by-!" But, before he could finish, he felt a pair of arms wrap around his waist. Turning his neck, he realized Andra had already been interrupted by their 'former' masters' appearances.
"There isn't any need to keep them back any longer, let's go now. It's best not to keep this new Master waiting too long."
Andra whispered gently. The duo's antics surprised the pair of Martial Kings as Aurel didn't even try to hide her disgust.
It seems since Andra wasn't her disciple, she didn't care any longer to keep up her face. Of course, she wasn't stupid enough to mention anything less she finds herself suffering in the future.
With her status, she couldn't offend two possible Holy Childs, especially one who currently had the title of Young Holy Child.
"Okay, follow us..." Jin said. Without waiting any longer, since there wasn't anything of value in the cabin, they left. Luckily, the lovers weren't doing anything intimate before Aurel and Jin arrived, so they had enough clothing.
...
...
Sitting at the edge of a river's bank, he had a rod in his hand with a fishing line in the flowing water as he waited patiently for the creatures of the water to take the bait.
"Ahh! Fishing is just like life. I throw in the bait and wait for my enemies to bite before I then reel in the benefits. Anyway, I wonder what benefits I'll gain from accepting those two?!"
"Huh? It seems they're here already!" His figure turned illusionary. The four had appeared at the foot of a mountain, it was the residence he owned that spanned thousands of miles. A holy ground filled with Life energy that people like Blade would prosper in.
