As we walked through the passage we ended up in a park. There was a fountain in the center with a statue of a man holding seashells. Surrounding the park were a few buildings here and there but most of what we could see was endless blue sky. In front of the fountain stood Ava and the tuxedo man. I looked over at Grayson, as we both nervously walked forward.
“Did you think we wouldn’t notice you two following us?” Ava asked as she crossed her arms and leaned against the fountain.
“Honestly, yeah. We want to know what the hell is going on. Why did you kill Matt? And what is this prophecy we hear people talking about? None of it makes any sense.” I answered.
“You boys are not as ordinary as you may think.” The tuxedo man said.
“Don’t tell them anything, it’s too dangerous.” Ava said as she elbowed him.
“Who even are you? Are you both players?” Grayson asked.
