Chapter 24: The Search

“It looks like no one’s been here in a while.” I said as we both stood up. I went to go open the door we came in from and Grayson stopped me.

“You probably shouldn’t open that one. I think we were meant to come in here.” He told me and I nodded in agreement. I began to look around the small room.

The only lights were small lamps on each of the three desks. One in the center of the room, one to the right, and one on the far wall. There were a few filing cabinets, manila folders spread out everywhere, and a big corkboard hanging on the wall. Pictures of us were on it along with maps, graphs, and marker smeared all over.

“Who do think was working in here?” I asked.

“Maybe Narin herself. Or gamers working for her. It looks like it was a normal office until something big happened.” He answered.
