Adam was happy to be back home as he entered the gate of his mansion. Of course, he still had to oversee his companies. Tyron, his most trusted assistant, had been complaining about his absence from the company.

But he had always known that Tyron could easily handle the company on his own. Most of the board members and the stockholders trusted him. It was only he who was doubting himself.

"Sir, glad to see you home." His security at the gate saluted him as he stopped by to check on them.

"Anything unusual happened while I was out." He asked, wanting to know everything happening on his property, even if it was the smallest detail.

He could never let his guard down, especially when Avana's life might be in danger. His father was a cunning man. He could not trust his words that he was not concocting a plan against the werewolves.
