It did not take long to get back to the Mammoth. The ship had already vacated its previous location and was on the move when they caught up to it.

A single call through and the doors were opened to receive them. As the Saucers floated into the bridge, Tanya looked ahead to find that Elena had come out personally to receive them.

She jumped down from the mech and both ladies exchanged looks with one another. The others said nothing and silence were maintained for a bit.

Just as Elena made to speak, Tanya rushed towards her and enveloped her in a bear hug. "I was so scared." Elena did not refuse her, wrapping her arms around her. "I'm glad you are okay."

Nathan suffused a smile as he watched this scene. Everyone present felt good about how things had turned out. "I absolutely cannot suggest such a plan ever again," Nathan swore inwardly.
