What Do You Know?

"May, are you in there?"

"Aunt?" May stood up from her bed and walked to the door. She pushed the door open and gestured to the woman outside to enter. "What is the problem, aunt?" She asked as the woman entered.

"Nothing, I just came to check on you. You left without anyone noticing, your father was worried" the woman stated.

"You don't have to mind these things, especially matters about me, I already told you so many times," May said casually.

"May, you cannot say that, I have been married to your father for many years, I know that I can never be your mother but as an elder, I also must care for you. You know your dad will yell at me first when you are missing before he speaks to you, so, how could I not mind you?" The woman raised her brows and fixed her gaze on May.

"Aunt" May called, she inhaled deeply and released a soft sigh. "I understand, sorry to have made you worried" she expressed and the woman shook her head.
