"Now, it is up to you to decide what you prefer. Please let me know your choice." KØD clarified, awaiting Jason's decision.

"I have made my decision. I would like to be born between the ages of 10 to 15. However, I have a specific request. I do not want any living family members or relatives of the person whose place I will take."

"I feel that, due to my memories, I cannot fully accept anyone else as my parents. In this new life, you will be my parent, my friend, and everything else. I do not require any other individuals during the initial stages of my new life."

"However, I am open to making new friends and potentially forming new familial bonds. You will be the first and most significant presence in my new life." Jason expressed his preference while acknowledging the important role KØD would play as his guardian and guide in this rebirth.

"As you wish. Now, let me inquire about the type of race you would like to choose. Would you prefer to remain as your human race, or are you open to considering a different one?" KØD asked.

"I don't mind either way, but I believe it would be better if the race is somewhat humanoid in nature. However, I trust your expertise, so feel free to choose whatever you deem appropriate," Jason replied

"Then I have found a suitable race for you, one that closely resembles humans, making it easier for you to adjust. Additionally, this race is compatible with one of your abilities," KØD informed Jason.

Curious to know more, KØD presented a screen displaying detailed information about the chosen race. Jason began reading about the Elysians and their unique attributes.

{The Elysians are an extraordinary humanoid race known for their remarkable abilities in body modification and adaptation.

They originated from a fusion of ancient magic and advanced genetic engineering, resulting in a species with a natural inclination for altering and enhancing their physical forms.

Over generations, these inherent abilities have shaped the Elysians into a highly versatile and adaptable species.

Among their distinctive racial skills are:

1. Body Value: A unique skill possessed by every Elysian, enabling them to evaluate the value and potential of limbs and organs in other creatures.

2. Biomorph Affinity: Elysians possess an innate capability to attach new limbs and organs from different creatures, assimilating their features and gaining additional abilities in the process.

3. Chimeric Fusion: Elysians have the extraordinary ability to merge with animals, blending their DNA and acquiring the traits, physical characteristics, and even limited shapeshifting abilities of the merged creature.}

Upon reading these details, Jason had the opportunity to assess whether he felt connected to this race or if he preferred an alternative option.

"It seems that the Elysians would be the most suitable species for you. The skills you read about are just the foundational racial skills possessed by all awakened Elysians. As you progress, you will unlock new racial skills specific to the Elysian race," KØD explained.

He continued, "Elysians are exceptionally rare, and in the first dimension (D.U), they are virtually extinct. However, this works to your advantage as all Elysians migrated to the second dimension (D.U) millions of years ago."

"This not only gives you an edge over others but also ensures that your race remains undiscovered and you are safe from being captured or exposed."

KØD further elaborated, "Elysians have a unique ability to absorb and attach the DNA of other beings, allowing them to assume certain characteristics and traits."

"Even advanced racial detection spells and machines in the first dimension (D.U) would identify you as a hybrid, which is a common race among the inhabitants."

"So, you will be seen as the most common race by other but at the same time you will be the most rare race"

Finally, KØD inquired, "So, have you made your decision, or do you still wish to consider other options? Please keep in mind that choosing an alternative species may not provide the same level of benefits and advantages as the Elysians."

"I have already told you that I will accept whatever you deem best for me without any hesitation," Jason replied.

KØD nodded in understanding and continued, "Then it seems we are almost done with everything. However, before we conclude, I would like to emphasize that your past experiences do not dictate your future."

"Remember to balance your pursuit of strength with enjoying life, making friends, and finding joy in the present. It's not solely about becoming stronger or uncovering the reason behind your abilities. Take time to appreciate the journey and cherish the moments."

He paused for a moment before adding, "Lastly, I want to remind you of a valuable principle: refrain from unnecessary killings."

"Only resort to violence when absolutely necessary, and always show respect to those in need, including beggars. If possible, extend a helping hand to those who require assistance, even if you don't expect anything in return."

"The kindness you show today may not bring immediate rewards, but one day, when you find yourself in need, it will come back to you."

"Now, as promised, I will reveal the identity of the soul I bestowed upon you. It belonged to the previous holder of the same ability you currently possess—the 'desire for knowledge.'"

"While it is true that I failed to save him, I was somehow able to retrieve his soul from the soul purification realm during the process of his purification."

"By that time, the ability had already departed from him in search of a new host, and he had lost most of his memories."

"When I inquired about his desires in exchange for preventing his soul from peacefully undergoing the purification process, he humbly expressed a modest wish—to rekindle the profound emotions he once experienced while possessing the ability."

"He didn't seek anything extravagant or momentous; instead, he yearned to relive the sensations that had once stirred within him."

"As a token of his gratitude for rescuing his soul, he pledged his unwavering loyalty and a readiness to confront even the gods themselves, should the need arise."

"By giving you his soul, not only will it assist you, but the fragments of memories he still retains will prove valuable to you."

"You need not offer him anything in return; simply allow him to reside within your soul. Occasionally, grant him control over the body if possible."

"Rest assured, he poses no threat of betrayal. You have my word. I encourage you to cultivate a friendship with him, as he will be a constant presence within you."

"Indeed, the previous user of the ability can serve as a guide to help you navigate your path and uncover the mysteries surrounding the ability of desire for knowledge."

"However, the choice ultimately rests with you. If you have no objections and as long as he does not pose any harm to you, I suggest allowing him to assist you on your journey."

"Furthermore, I have personally imparted upon him valuable teachings and knowledge in various domains, making him a valuable asset in many aspects."

"These are the things you had to know about him before making your decision ..., So these are all the things you need to know I hope it will make you make a good decision" KØD said

Jason considered the proposition and responded, "I have no objections. I will trust your judgment and follow the path you guide me on."

KØD nodded after hearing Jason answer, then handed Jason an emblem, saying, "As a final gift to you, I present this emblem. When you come across the person whose identity you will assume, use this emblem on him."

"It will collect every DNA sample from his body, including his affinity towards any elements, if he possesses any."

"Once collected, the emblem will inject this DNA into your body, granting you an additional affinity and ensuring that nobody can detect your true Elysian nature."

"Additionally, you will gain access to some of his memories, providing you with insights into the people he knows and the experiences he's had."

"Please note that the memories won't be complete, but they will serve as a helpful guide when encountering individuals connected to the person you replace."

"This will enable you to recognize them and navigate social interactions more smoothly."

"As for the place where you will be reborn, I have already selected it. The person whose identity you will assume is a 14-year-old boy."

"His parents passed away some time ago, but they left behind ample funds for him to live a comfortable life. He doesn't have any other family members, making it an ideal situation for you to seamlessly take his place."

"In a matter of seconds, he will meet his demise due to a stupid event. It is precisely at that moment that you will seamlessly assume his identity."

"This marks the conclusion of our conversation, Jason. Once you embark on this new path, direct contact between us will no longer be possible."

"However, as a devoted follower of mine, I will find alternative means to connect with you, methods that will become apparent to you in due course. Lastly, Jason, take good care of yourself and seize this fresh opportunity that lies ahead."

With these final words, Jason's surroundings faded into darkness.
