The Plotter let out a heavy sigh and slumped back into his chair.

"Okay, don't send the team then." He said with a resigned tone. "Such a pity, he would have more concentrated soul essence to me when he's complete...."

"But, can't be too greedy. Let's not. I'm patient."

The Plotter is so immersed in his own monologue that Raine feels he's no longer needed to stand next to the Plotter.

He was about to leave when the Plotter stopped him.

"Raine?"

"Yes, sir?"

"I will let you decide what to do with him." The Plotter lazily nodded in the direction of the screen, showing Lucien struggling to stand at his own two feet.

"I have no use of him. And I do not want to recall him back to my space, Aiden's main soul might sense him and will try to break free."

"Normally I will destroy a useless puppet soul once he has done his purpose but..." The Plotter's steady gaze landed on Raine. "But you seem to be fond of him, right?"
