It Should Be

Daniela didn't like being cooped up now any more than she had when they were in protective custody but she didn't make a peep of complaint because she knew it wouldn't last long and she couldn't get around very well right now anyway. She had nowhere to go.

Sam had already mostly gotten their new identities taken care of but was waiting to quit at work until he found somewhere else for them to go. He was still figuring that out and spent a lot of time on his laptop or making phone calls.

When he wasn't doing that, he was glued to her side as if he was afraid she would disappear otherwise. She couldn't blame him after everything that happened.

Daniela didn't know if she would ever be able to make things up to her husband. He seemed rather fragile right now.

She felt pretty fragile herself. The doctor had recommended grief counseling and she planned on doing that once they got wherever Sam planned to move them. She had an awful lot to grieve.
