Don't Complain

In the end, Kimora was able to help Yren into his armor, and they both left Kimora's and headed to Ginny's room.

Once in front of the door, Kimora knocked, and Ginny called for them to come in.

"Oh? Are you coming into the Dungeon today?" Ginny asked with surprise as Yren and Kimora walked into her room.

She was wearing a special turquoise dress her mother had gotten for her from the Guild storeroom. It had high magic resistance and bolstered Water and Support type Magic and Skills.

"No, I will be waiting outside, practicing what he says he can teach me," Kimora said in a flat emotionless voice, gesturing to Yren.

"He has a name!" Yren fumed, and Ginny laughed.

"Well, that sounds good, and he is going to practice with you after right? I will wait for you to and we can all come back together!" Ginny said with excitement, and Kimora groaned.

Yren smiled while rubbing the back of his head in defeat. Kimora was back to treating him like some second-rate street dweller.

The three of them left Ginny's room, but Clyde was there to see them off with Rephilia.

"Looks like the three of you are all off! Good luck! Looks like you ended up getting some sleep as well Yren!" Clyde said with a laugh.

"That was because Kimora wasn't doing her job properly! He should have been up half the night like your father was! Haha!" Rephilia laughed maniacally, but the three were already running out the front door.

The three made it to the Guild Hall and stopped.

Kimora was panting from the burst of running, looking frustrated. Ginny pulled on Yren's arm and nodded at her sister.

Yren's eyes went big, and Ginny nodded to him. Yren's expression dropped, but he turned around to face Kimora who flinched back in surprise.

She had been stuck in her thoughts of how weak she was while she had been trying to catch her breath. The suddenness of Yren turning around startled her, and before she could react, Kimora was scooped up into his arms.

"What are you doing?! Put me down!" Kimora complained, but Yren just ignored her, and walked forward, staring straight ahead.

"Don't complain. Yren is just helping you like he would me. You should really try to be nicer to him," Ginny scolded her sister, and Kimora pulled her hood over her face to hide her embarrassment.

Yren ignored the girls and headed for home or his dad's place now. Yren was still trying to get used to the sudden switch.

The three of them arrive at Yren's place, and he set Kimora down outside his front yard gate. He didn't want his father to see him carry Kimora for her sake.

"He will probably be back in the forge. It had been a long time since he had made a weapon, and this is something new, so he is probably taking his time with it," Yren explained as he led the girls around the house, and back to his father's small forge.

"Hey! Old man!" Yren called as he opened the door.

Tybrus turned to his son wearing a strange pair of spectacles that had multiple lenses. They made his father's eyes look big, and Yren started to laugh as the girls stood behind him in shock.

"What are you laughing at, boy? I am doing this for you, ya know! Now be quiet while I finish this. You can come in and watch, but stay out of the way!" Growled Tybrus, but there was a grin on his face.

"You can set gems?!" Ginny asked with excitement.

"Oh? Yeah, I did a couple other things and added about fifteen jewels and an eight-layered enchantment. It should be fine for now, but in the future, I will make a new one if you get me better metals and Jewels. I could only use basic enchantment with the Electrum, but it should be fine," Tybrus explained casually.

Only the sounds of the flickering forge could be heard as the three stared in shock at Yren's father. A three-layered enchanted weapon with two gems was something to be treasured, but this was impossible in their eyes.

"There is no way you could do that!" Kimora declared, pointing at the smith.

"Come look for yourself, but don't touch! It is all very unstable right now, and I am putting it to the final jewel," Tybrus explained as he stepped aside, revealing a jewel-encrusted item with a grip in the middle.

"That is amazing! Kimora, this should work perfectly for you! There are so many gems! Ahh! It looks so pretty!" Ginny exclaimed as she came forward to look.

Kimora followed her sister with a look of shock on her face. Despite the fact that it was the most beautiful thing she had ever seen, she was having a hard time believing what she was seeing.

"Step back, and I will set this in," Tybrus said, waving the girls back.

Yren had stood back and allowed the girls to watch as he watched them. While this was far more than he could have expected, he also found out that his father was capable of so much more than what he had thought.

It would be up to him to ask his father to make a weapon for Ginny as well. Even though Yren was impressed, he was still a bit sour towards his father despite understanding why he did what he did.

"There! Now, this is a special weapon, and I am going to have to bind it to you, and it will tell you its name. I added a bit of Intelectum, so it will grow with you for now. The stronger you get, the stronger the bow will, but it will hit a limit at some point. When it does, you can come to me for a new one!" Tybrus said as he handed the item to Kimora.
