For the rest of the day I was just with Marley, I didn't see or hear a thing from Charlie. Which honestly, I was starting to get used to and he's still surprised that Bobby says my name more than his. I was sat with Marley talking about London, when Charlie and the guys walk into the house being loud and obnoxious.
"Can you keep it down, Bobby is taking a nap?" I ask trying to be polite about it, but it definitely wasn't coming across that way.
The guys immediately shut up while Charlie looks over at me, I give him one of my looks before turning away to look back at Marley who sends me a smile. The room was silent for a minute, no one knew what to say or do at this point.
"I'm hungry, who wants pizza?" Morgan asks pulling his phone out, I mean what was new with Morgan being hungry?
"Order me and Miya our usual, I just need a quick word" Charlie says walking over to me taking my arm, before I could protest I was being pulled out of the kitchen and upstairs, I'm not the only one getting deja vu am I?
Once we were at the top of the stairs, I stop him so I could check on Bobby who was asleep in the room Marley's been staying in. He was still sound asleep which meant Charlie dragged me away again, into a different room just down the hall. He closes the door behind him turning around with his arms crossed, I should be the one standing like that not him.
"You can skip all the, oh what's happened or what's wrongs, I think you know what's wrong" I tell him facing away from him as I spoke, I wasn't giving him the privilege of looking at me, I know I'm being petty.
"Miya please, I just wanna look after you and Bobby, that's the one reason I'm doing this" he says just repeating what he always says, which just ticks me off to a whole new level.
"Well maybe if you didn't do the things you do, none or this would be happening!" I shout still not turning around to look at him, I knew what his facial expression would be if I did, quite shocked.
"You knew what you were getting yourself into when this relationship started" he tells me trying to remain calm, well I wasn't that calm myself.
"No I didn't because if you remember, I was kept in the dark about the things you do for the first few months and by the time I found out, I had already fallen in love with you!" I exclaim finally turning to look at him, he was still stood in the same place but wouldn't break the eye contact with me "now, I don't even want to imagine what my life would be without you, it's hard to love you Charlie but I can't help myself" I sigh which does make him start to walk over, he takes both hands in mine looking at me.
"Trust me, I know it's the most difficult task in the world to love someone like me, but I'm so glad that you've sussed how to. I love every inch of you, I love the mother you've become to our son, I love the way you just handle whatever situation that you're put, mostly the ones I put you in" he says with a slight laugh, I think he was testing the waters with that joke, I just roll my eyes but couldn't help the smile that filled my lips "ever since you walked into that class room five years ago, I can't express the amount of love that I have for you. I know the work I do is scary and unpredictable, but that's just the position that I've been put in" he says placing his forehead against mine as he spoke, I just smile taking a look down at the floor as he spoke.
"This is who I am now, this type of work forces you to change who you are no matter what. That's why I want to keep you away from it, you're the perfect person and I don't want all this changing you, I need you to stay the amazing, kind-hearted beautiful person you are" he says pulling me closer to him, I guess that was a sweet thing to say, even for Charlie.
"You're just always away from home Charlie, which invites strange men into our home" I laugh a little but he didn't find it funny "and when you are there, you're distant because you're thinking about this and not your wife or.....kids" I say looking up with a smile as I spoke, he doesn't understand at first but I could see the gears turning in his head.
"Miya, are you?" He asks moving away slightly with a smile, I nod my head moving his hand to place on my stomach causing his face to light up.
He plants a kiss on my lips pulling me closer, I'd been holding this secret in for maybe a week. He wasn't home at first than all this started happening, I didn't get the chance to tell him.
"That's why I keep saying I need you home, we're gonna have two children running around" I smile as he places his head on mine, his hand still resting on my belly which was mega cute.
"That's also why I need to deal with this man now, one so he doesn't hurt you, Bobby or the baby and so I can start spending more time at home" he says frantically looking around, he goes to move towards the door but I pull him back with a smile.
"Slow down, now just because I'm pregnant doesn't mean you can keep me out of the loop. This is more reason to start telling me things" I say which he just raised his eyebrow to "well I'm gonna need you more, so I need to know your schedule and where you're gonna be" I smile loving that I could use that excuse, it was his turn to roll his eyes but smiles.
Before we could carry on our conversation, I hear Bobby calling my name from the other room. Charlie smiles once again before turning and walking out of the room, I follow him where he opens the door, while Bobby was sat on the bed. He walks straight over holding Bobby in his arms, who looks over at me a little puzzled.
"I know it's strange that I'm here right now and not mummy, but that's one thing that's gonna change from now on" he says as I make my way over, mostly so Bobby would know it's okay "do you wanna know why, you're gonna be a big brother" Charlie whispers which does make Bobby giggle a little, wrapping his arms around me to take him.
But Charlie pulls him back holding him upside down, which not gonna lie that did make me kind of nervous. But Bobby didn't seem fazed and just laughed even louder.
"I demand respect little boy" Charlie says throwing him in the air and tickling him, while I stood just smiling at the two.
