{19} "Totally Badass!"

I took an elevator all the way up to her office where I was told to take a seat and wait for her to return. It was only then that I looked around her office that it struck me, it was so obvious that I almost slapped myself for not realizing it sooner.

This office... no this entire company looked exactly like... "Mine, this is my company, but it isn't, it's an exact replica but at the same time things were very different, almost like when I first went home after I woke up. Colours changed, some things are here and others aren't." I mumbled.

"Are you Miss Sagwa?" A woman suddenly asked bringing me out of my thoughts.

"Uh... yes I am." I responded standing to my feet bowing to greet her.

"No need for that dear. I'm Ren." she said, her name all too familiar to me. I straightened my back so I could look at her and it was definitely that Ren. A well known Queen of Kpop, known for her angelic voice and heart stopping beauty. I had always enjoyed working with her onset whenever she modeled for me because she was always so nice.

She had the same smiling light brown, almond-shaped eyes; fine oval shaped face; pink half full top lip and full bottom lip; her hair was mid-back length, dyed gray in a fish-braid over her chest. She even still had the same water lilly tattoo on her upper shoulder which symbolized her name.

I still couldn't believe that she was the person who took my place as the country's top designer. I just kept running into familiar faces wherever I went.

Was I shocked? Yes. Was I mad? Not really, she was ridiculously beautiful and talented so if she was my successor in this world, how could I ever complain?

"Nice to meet you." I said shaking her hand.

"Shall we begin. I'm really excited to hear what ideas you have. Kazuchika told me a lot about you." she gushed, taking a seat as I pulled a folder from my bag with the layout of the restaurant and a design of how the fashion show would be organized.

I placed it on the table in front of us and she got up and came to sit next to me, flipping through the folder nodding and smiling at some parts.

I watched her with a smile, feeling relieved that she seemed to like my ideas.

"This has to be one of the best plans I've ever seen, it's like you read my mind or something, other planners just couldn't cater to my taste like you just did." she said a bright smile on her face.

That's because this was the layout of the fashion show I was planning before I was dragged here against my will.

I smiled back at her. "Thanks, I'm so glad you like it. Now, all we have to do is choose a DJ, the food, a makeup crew and lots of other things."

"Sounds good, we should get to work then, let's have some coffee since I'm sure this will take a while." she responded, asking her assistant to bring us some iced coffee and we got to work making phone calls when necessary.

Time moved quickly as we finished up the planning, and all that was left was for me to start arranging everything with the restaurant.

The door to her office suddenly opened and one of her employees entered in a rush, out of breath. "Sorry to interrupt ma'am, but what should we do about this?" The employee held up a ripped pencil skirt, the rip went straight down the side.

Ren's eyes opened as she jumped from her seat. "Oh my god, what happened?!" she asked seeing her beautiful piece damaged and boy did I know that feeling.

"There was an accident in the work shop and this happened as a result." The male employee explained.

"It's okay. But it is ruined so we'll have to make a new one." she sighed holding the skirt up in her hands, defeated.

Looking at it an idea popped into my head. "If I may, I have a way to save that for you."

She thought for a moment and handed me the torn garment with a curious look on her face. "Do you have any left over Royal Blue Satin?" I asked, the employee looked at her for permission and she nodded so he brought me what I asked for.

I placed the skirt on the table grabbing some sewing pins, I folded the rip so that the edges were clean and even. I took the blue satin and pinned it around the waist attaching it to the skirt, careful not to cover the waistband; with a scissors I made an identical split on the satin, using that to make the rip into a split transforming it into a completely different style.

All eyes were on me as I made my way to the closest sewing machine to sew the piece together. When I was finished I created a new seam for the bottom and I was finally done.

The above the knee pencil skirt was now a long, flowy, ball room evening skirt.

I gave it to the male employee and he held it up showing it to Ren whose eyes widened as she ran her hand over it.

"How did you do that? That was—"

"Totally badass." Ren interrupted her employee.

"Thank you." I replied, blushing a little, giving them an awkward smile. It had been awhile since I made a garment, so I might have over done it a little, regardless, I was satisfied with the result.

"Sagwa, do you want to work here? You'd be an amazing addition to the team." Ren suddenly asked catching me off guard, a part of me wanted nothing more than to say yes, but I felt as though I should refuse.

"Thanks, but I really shouldn't, but feel free to call me whenever something like that happens again and I'll see what I can do." I suggested and she frowned.

"What a shame, you seem really talented but I will accept your offer, so we'll be in touch." she said then smiling at me.

"I hope so. I should go, it was nice meeting you." I gathered my things shaking her hand once again.

"Like wise."
