Aren't they mine?

The devil and I didn't go far before I decided that I was tired of walking. "I've killed enough animals today, don't you think it's time to go?"

One of the animals I fought with, kicked me on my waist. And it's disturbing me. Walking makes it seem like I'm walking on a shell.

"You haven't killed any small animal. Do you think the others will believe you when you show them the creatures you got?"

"Of course, they will. Why do you think they won't believe me? It's not like there is room for cheating, or is there?" I look up at the devil, "is there a shortcut to this?"

"You are with me. But in default, they will believe I was the one who helped you. None of them will believe you when you tell them you killed the animals."

"So be it. I was the one who killed those animals, I deserve to take the credit for it. If they don't believe that I did it, then it's their loss."
