Wedding Night

The Celebration went on till night fall, people were very happy, if they had not eaten in a long time, well they did now, and they were all joyous in celebration, before time the sun had set and the moon and its stars had already dominated the sky, and everyone had gone home already, with all of them waiting for day break for them to return to the various parts of the Kingdom that they had come from.

To the relief of Liam, Mero, Zuph, Luc, Zechariah and Elihu, nothing went wrong at all, the celebration was enjoyable, and it was now time for them to rest.

Nervous… that was the one word that could describe the feeling that Wura was feeling right now, she was just nervous.

As she sat there back in her room at the Castle, she was being prepared once again for something that she really, truly dreaded, the most important thing that she had forgotten once again.

Wura sat there as she saw her reflection in the dressing table mirror, she really did not look happy at all, in fact she looked very tired.

"My princess, there is no need for you to be nervous at all, it is understandable" said Nora as she smiled and she removed the pin in Wura's hair, and Wura's curly hair scattered all about her face and neck.

"Oh Nora…" said Wura as she did not know what to say at all, she was truly dreading this moment, how could she had forgotten to take into consideration this important fact???

"My princess, please have some tea, it will relax you" said Nora as she walked to the tray on a small table and she poured Wura a cup of tea and she gave it to her.

"Thank you Nora" said Wura as she took the teacup from Nora and she drank the tea immediately, and as if it was magic, she was instantly calm.

Wura was now sure of why she felt so relaxed and in a daze in the morning, I was probably all the herbs and the tea that she had drank that made her feel so relaxed.

"Do you feel better now my lady?" asked Nora as she brushed Wura's hair and she decided to leave it down like that in its natural state.

"Yes I do… I feel better now" said Wura as she sighed and Nora took the empty teacup from her, as soon as Wura had arrived back at the Castle, she was given another bath again as she apart from that, she was once again rubbed with sweet smelling oils.

"I am glad my princess" said Nora as she smiled and she placed the teacup and saucer back on the table.

"Nora, you looked very pretty in that dress" said Wura as she smiled and she noticed that Nora was still wearing the dress.

"Oh… Um Thank you my princess, I did not have time to change at all" said Nora as she laughed sheepishly.

"But you look so beautiful in it that it would be a shame for everyone not to see you in it" said Wura as she laughed.

"If I was you, I would find a way to wear the dress all night" said Wura as she laughed and Nora laughed too for once, Wura was just too funny.

"My princess, you are ready now" said Nora as she smiled and she stepped back.

"Umm Nora…" called Wura as she looked down at herself.

"Yes my princess??" asked Nora.

"Do you not think that this is a bit too inappropriate?" asked Wura as she was trying to be nice, but the truth was that, this was a lot inappropriate, she would never in her life wear this sort of thing out, it was forbidden.

"Well I am not sure my princess" said Nora.

"But I doubt that it is" she said.

"This was how I was ordered to dress you my princess" said Nora.

"I see…" said Wura, was there no way that she was going to be able to escape this at all??

"My Princess, I will escort you to his highness's room now" said Nora.

"But I cannot surely go out like this??" said Wura as she took another look at herself again, she found this unbelievable, it had to be a sin to be dressed like this.

"I am aware of that my princess" said Nora as she walked to Wura's closet and she picked out a black cloak.

"My princess you have to wear this" said Nora as she walked back to Wura with the black cloak.

"Oh that is much better" said Wura as she smiled and she took the cloak from Nora and she put it on quickly, she could not stand to look at herself, she pulled the hood over her hair and she smiled.

"How do I look Nora?" asked Wura as she looked at Nora.

"Well… you look… covered my princess" said Nora.

"Thank you, that is what I was aiming for" said Wura as she smiled and Nora smiled too.

"Please follow me my princess" said Nora.

"Alright" said Wura as she stood up and she followed after Nora.

Nora led Wura through the halls of the Castle as Wura held the cloak tightly to herself as it swept the floor as she walked.

In a matter of minutes Nora and Wura were led into a room that was blocked with a mighty door in front of them.

"My Princess, this is as far as I can go" said Nora as she stopped to look at Wura.

"Behind this door are the prince's quarters, you may go through and knock on the next door" said Nora as she opened the large door for Wura.

"Alright Nora" said Wura as she entered through the door and she turned back to look at Nora, as she felt very sad that Nora could not go any further with her.

"Goodnight my princess" said Nora as she held the door and she smiled.

"Goodnight Nora" said Wura as she smiled and Nora closed the door behind her and she left as Wura just stood there, it was like she was in some sort of hall.

"*Sigh*, Alright Wura, brace yourself, you will find a way" said Wura to herself and she sighed and she kept on walking and came to another door, she could not hear any noise coming from inside, but Wura knocked on the door and she waited for a reply.

"Enter" came Liam's voice from inside the room.

"Alright Wura, this it is" said Wura to herself as she sighed and she opened the door and she entered the room.

The first thought that came to her mind was that Liam had such a big room, it was four times the size of Wura's own room, there were many things in his room, he had a walk in closet, there was a little study area with a shelf of books and a desk for him to work in one corner, there was a couch in his room, and Wura turned her head and she saw that Liam had a very big bed.

Wura's eyes went to Liam who was sitting on one of the couches in his room, and he was fully clothed too.

"Oh thank the heavens for that" said Wura as she sighed in relief.

"Good Evening" said Liam as he put down the book he was reading and he looked up at Wura.

"Good Evening your highness" said Wura as she stood as far away from him as possible, with how indecent she was, she could not take any chances at all.

"Why are you standing so far away?" asked Liam as he looked at Wura with a raised eyebrow, she looked very suspicious.

"Well I am free to stand wherever I want am I not?" asked Wura as she shook her head at him.

"Well I suppose so" said Liam as he realized that she was back to her normal witty, proud self, and he liked that, he had missed that side of her, and he was looking forward to what she would come up with next, well because, to tell the truth neither of them wanted to do anything.

"Why are you wearing that cloak?" asked Liam as he saw that she was covering herself tightly.

"Well because I prefer to wear a cloak?? Is that a problem??" asked Wura.

"Well I think not" said Liam as he laughed.

"It is time to consummate our marriage, do you not think so?" asked Liam as he stood up from the couch and he walked towards her as he unbuttoned his shirt, he was going to tease her.

"Gosh this man did not even wait at all" said Wura as she panicked and she shook her head as Liam took more steps closer to her and she moved to the back until her back hit the wall and she could no longer move, there was no way to escape, and Liam had cornered her.

"Come on Wura, think, think fast" said Wura to herself as she hated the smug look on Liam's face.

"Umm, your highness, in my family, we do not commence anything till spring" said Wura as that was all she could come up with right now, her heart was racing, and her thoughts were raging.

"Oh is that so? Since when?" asked Liam as he was amused.

"Umm since my generation" she replied.

"…" Liam was left speechless, Wura was truly something else entirely.

"You do not believe me??" asked Wura.

"Well you can go and ask my father, that was why my parents married in the spring" said Wura as she nodded her head as if it was a fact.

Liam could not help but laugh, she would fight till the end, he admired her perseverance, and Wura wondered what made him laugh so much.

"Well alright then" said Liam as he stopped laughing.

"We will wait till the spring" said Liam as he smiled.

"Really??" asked Wura and Liam nodded.

"Well for now, you can stay here" said Liam as he stepped back and he finally let Wura breathe.

"I am going out" said Liam as he walked to the door.

"Goodnight" he said as he stepped out and he closed the door behind him, his reason being that he knew Wura would not be comfortable with him still there, and he could not send her back to her room because the guards would see her, and they would report straight to his father, which in turn would cause his father to ask, and he could not lie to his father at all.

So the only reasonable thing for Liam to do was that he leave, and he was going to his office right now to work on some important things.

"Oh dear heavens, thank you" said Wura to herself as she sighed and relief and she tried to calm her racing heart, she did not think that would have worked at all.
