Safe Journey

"*Sigh*, Oh Nora, I really do wish that my parents would stay a bit longer" said Wura as she sighed as Nora tidied up her room.

"Then why do you not just say so to them my princess?" asked Nora as she looked at Wura as she had finished arranging her closet.

"Well because, they do deserve their own happiness, they no longer have to take care of me, like they did when I was a child" said Wura as she sighed and she twirled a strand of her hair with her finger in sadness.

"It is just that I will miss them greatly" said Wura sadly, it was alright bed time and Wura was in her white nightgown as she sat on her bed and she spoke to Nora.

"And my Uncle and Aunt have also decided to leave tomorrow Morning as well" said Wura.

"*Sigh*, I will be all alone and back to being bored in this Castle again" said Wura as she sighed.

"Well my princess, I can understand you, I also do miss my parents, although I see them every once in a while" said Nora as she stood in front of Wura.

"Oh is that so?" asked Wura as she looked at Nora.

"Yes my princess" said Nora as she nodded her head.

"Well where do your parents live?" asked Wura.

"They live in town my princess, not so far from the Castle" said Nora.

"Oh" said Wura as she smiled at Nora, she was happy that she got to see her parents.

"Do you have any siblings Nora?" asked Wura as she smiled.

"No my princess, I have none" said Nora as she shook her head.

"Well that makes us the same then" said Wura as she smiled, and Nora smiled slightly.

"My Princess, I have finished with my duties for today" said Nora.

"Oh…" said Wura as she realized that it was getting late, and yet here she was whining to Nora about all her problems.

"Well you may go now Nora, and have a goodnight" said Wura as she smiled, she was sure that Nora was tired, she had been going up and down the Castle all day as Wura had sent her to many places.

"Thank you my princess, have a Goodnight as well" said Nora as Wura smiled at her and she left the room.

"*Sigh*, Alright Wura, you got yourself into this" said Wura to herself as she sighed.

"Are you all set?" asked Zechariah as he handed Mero a sack which he saddled to his horse.

"Yes, I am" replied Mero as he gave his brown horse a pat as he turned to look at the others.

The Moon was shining and it was the only source of right along with the few stars dispersed in the sky.

"Have you remembered to bring your sword along with you?" asked Zuph.

"It is too suspicious for me to carry a sword along with me" said Mero.

"I have my dagger with me instead" said Mero.

"Alright then" said Zuph.

"Are you still sure that you do not at least want one of us to come along with you?" asked Luc.

"Yes Luc is right, we still have time to prepare to go along with you" said Elihu.

"*Sigh" said Mero as he sighed.

"I have to…" said Mero as he was cut off.

"You all sound like a nagging nanny" said Liam as he laughed as he walked to where all of them were standing.

"You took the words right out of my mouth Liam" said Mero as he sighed and he shook his head.

"Well of course we worry, the journey to the east is a very treacherous one" said Luc as he sighed and he shook his head.

"Luc is right" said Elihu.

"And it is even more dangerous when you go alone" said Zuph.

"You all worry too much, Mero knows what he is doing, and he will be alright" said Liam as he smiled, he also had the same concerns as the others, but Mero did not like people doubting him, so he would just support him.

"Thank you Liam, please tell them all" said Mero.

"Oh of course, you both always support each other" said Elihu as he scoffed.

"It seems that someone is jealous" said Liam as he laughed.

"There is no jealousy in my life, only women" said Elihu as he smiled and the others laughed as they shook their head he could never change.

"Well I do believe that Mero has grown weary of us all, and it is time for him to leave, so shall we all bid our goodbyes?" asked Liam as he looked at Luc, Elihu, Zuph and Zechriah.

"Alright then, be safe" said Luc as he smiled.

"Return well" said Elihu as he smiled.

"God be with you" said Zechariah as he smiled.

"And do not forget us" said Zuph.

"You all say so as if I am going to die, I will be back in seven days" said Mero as he shook his head.

"Oh let them speak Mero" said Liam as he laughed and he walked closer to Mero.

"Safe Journey brother" said Liam as he hugged Mero and he smiled.

"With all your well wishes, I will be alright" said Mero as Liam let go of him and Mero got on his horse.

"Oh come on guys, Mero has had enough of us, let us leave him" said Liam as he laughed.

"Goodbye" said Mero as the Castle gates opened and his horse began to move as he left and the Castle gates closed behind him.

"Well Liam, you better go and keep your wife company" said Luc as he turned to look at Liam and he laughed.

"And you all should go and sleep, you all have an early morning tomorrow with Mero gone" said Liam as he laughed.

"Oh right, Goodnight Liam" said Zechariah as he smiled.

"Goodnight everyone" said Liam as he smiled and he walked back into the Castle.

"You think that he will allow us skip training tomorrow?" asked Elihu.

"Not a chance" replied Zuph as he laughed.

The Next Morning

"Goodbye Mother, Goodbye Father, I really will miss you" said Wura as she hugged her mother and then her father as she bade them goodbye, the Carriage was already prepared on this very cold morning, and Ireti and Lawrence were already packed and ready to go.

"Be Good Wura" replied Ireti as she smiled.

"I am always good" said Wura as she smiled.

"Mhmmm, right" said Ireti as she laughed.

"I will miss you as well my dear" said Lawrence as he smiled as he held Wura's hand.

"Enjoy your stay In the plains" said Wura as she smiled at him.

"Oh we will" said Lawrence as he smiled.

"I bid you both a safe journey Duke and Duchess Scot" said Liam as he smiled.

"Thank you your highness" said Ireti as she smiled.

"And please take care of my daughter" said Lawrence as he smiled.

"I will, you do not have to worry about that" said Liam as he smiled and he looked at Wura as she looked at him.

"Thank you" said Lawrence as he smiled.

"And please send my regards to his Majesty" said Lawrence.

"I will" said Liam as he smiled and Lawrence smiled as well.

"Oh Reti, I will miss you" said Tessa as she walked to Ireti as she hugged her.

"And so will I" said Ireti as she smiled.

"And what about me Tessa??" asked Lawrence as he smiled.

"Of course I will miss you as well brother, but not as much as I will miss Ireti" said Tessa as she smiled and everyone laughed as Lawrence shook his head.

"Safe journeys sister in law" said Richard as he smiled.

"Why thank you Lawrence" said Ireti as she smiled.

"Richard" said Lawrence.

"Lawrence" replied Richard as both men spoke with their eyes.

"Well me must be going now" said Lawrence as he turned to look at Ireti, and he helped her into the Carriage.

"We shall see you all soon" said Lawrence as he smiled before he entered the carriage.

"Goodbye" said Everyone as they waved and the Carriage began to move and the carriage moved further and further away until they all could no longer see it.

"Well my dear, it is our turn now" said Tessa as she turned to look at Wura.

"Oh Aunt, I will miss you" said Wura as she smiled.

"And so will I my dear, but you can always come and visit us" said Tessa as she smiled and she gave Wura a kiss on the cheek.

"I will Aunt, I will" said Wura as she smiled.

"Your highness, It was a pleasure being here with you all" said Tessa as she smiled.

"Likewise" said Liam as he smiled.

"Can I give you a hug?" asked Tessa.

"Of course why not?" asked Liam as he smiled and Tessa smiled as she gave him a hug.

"Take care of her well" said Tessa as she broke their hug.

"I will" said Liam as he smiled and Richard helped Tessa into the second Carriage.

"Niece" said Richard as he turned to look at Wura.

"Uncle, I will miss you as well" said Wura as she smiled at him.

"Take care of her well, or else…" said Richard as he looked at Liam with a warning gaze.

"You have nothing to worry about at all" said Liam as he smiled and Richard nodded his head as he entered the carriage and It began to move.

"Goodbye" said Wura as she waved as they left and she smiled.
