Good Judgement

"So…" said Wura as she tilted her head to the side to look at Liam who was busy sipping tea as they were sitting at the dining table.

"So what?" asked Liam as he turned to look at Wura, he had noticed her staring at him ever since they had sat down, he did not know if something was on her mind, or if something was bothering her, or if she just wanted to stare at him today?

"You highness, I have a question" said Wura.

"Oh…" said Liam as this was a surprise to him, then she should have just said that rather than keeping quiet and staring at him as if she was a statue.

"Alright, so what is your question?" asked Liam, he wondered what sort of question would make her very quiet, she was usually very chatty, especially when she argued with him.

"Umm… your highness…" said Wura as she hesitated and Liam just looked at her intently as he waited for her to speak.

"I was wondering whether you have some rules on what I am allowed and not allowed to do?" asked Wura as she looked at Liam, this had been bothering her since yesterday.

"Well…" said Liam as he was surprised she would ask such a question, he thought that maybe she was up to something and that was why she was trying to be sure.

"Well your right is the same as mine" said Liam as he sipped his tea, she was a princess after all, she was his wife, and they were equal.

"You may do whatever it is that pleases you" said Liam as Wura looked at him.

"Alright" said Wura as she seemed to be thinking, her right was the same as his?? Then that technically meant that she owned the Castle as well???

"Hmm" said Liam as he placed the teacup back on the saucer on the dining table.

"Your highness, do you not wonder why I ask such a question?" asked Wura as she looked at Liam, she found it weird that he did not question her at all, he just gave her the answer to her question, and after that he went back to sipping his tea.

"Well, I do not need to ask" said Liam as he smiled.

"I do trust that you have good judgment" he said as he looked at her.

"And I believe that you would never do anything that is not right" he said as he smiled as her.

"Oh…" said Wura as she looked away from him, he trusted her… and her judgment, she did not know why, but that just made her very happy, to know that he trusted her.

"Thank you your highness" said Wura as she smiled at him slightly.

"Hmm" said Liam as he smiled back at her, he knew that she would never do anything bad, she was not like that, she was a very kind woman, and if she had asked him for confirmation, then it meant that she was not up to anything bad.

"Where did you get that pendant??" asked Liam as the smile on his face dropped, and his eyes caught sight of a gold pendant with a heart, on Wura's neck.

"Oh…" said Wura as she looked down at her neck and she held the pendant with her right hand.

"His Majesty gifted it to me yesterday" said Wura as she smiled and she looked at Liam, but the smile on her face dropped when she saw that he was not smiling at all.

"I see" said Liam.

"Is something the matter your highness??" asked Wura as she stopped holding the pendant and she looked at Liam, his mood had changed, drastically, and she did not know why at all.

"No… nothing is the matter" replied Liam coldly as he turned back and he sipped his tea once again.

"Alright…" said Wura as she turned back to face her own space on the dining table, she did not like it when Liam's mood suddenly changed and he became cold towards her, it really made her annoyed, and the worst thing was that she did not know why he was cold like that??

As far as she knew she had said nothing wrong at all, and neither did she fight with him, everything just changed after she mentioned the pendant, maybe he did not like the pendant?? Maybe that was why he looked so cold like that.

Then if that was it, she would just remove it and stop wearing it…wait, this was a gift from his Majesty, he said that gifted It to her and that he wanted her to have it, so why would she care if it upset Liam, that was his problem if he wanted to be in a foul mood over a little pendant.

"Hmm" said Wura as she scoffed at Liam and she shook her head as he turned to look at her, it seemed that she now wanted to be angry as well, what a surprise.

"Good Morrow my children" said Alaric as he smiled and he walked into the dining room as he interrupted the atmosphere between Liam and Wura.

"Good Morrow your highness" said Wura as she smiled and she ignored Liam, she was not going to entertain his foul mood.

"Good Morrow Father" said Liam.

"Ahh my children, how are you both doing this fine morning?" asked Alaric as he smiled and he sat down at his seat on the dining table.

"I am doing well your Majesty" said Wura as she smiled at him.

"I am glad" said Alaric as he smiled, he noticed that his son was in a rather bad mood this morning, maybe the young couple had one of their first arguments?

"My dear, your family have already gone?" asked Alaric as he smiled.

"Yes your Majesty, they already have" said Wura as she smiled.

"Such a shame that I could not see them off" said Alaric as he sighed.

"Please accept my sincerest apologies my dear" said Alaric.

"You see, I woke up feeling a bit under the weather this morning, so the physician came to the Castle to check on my health" said Alaric as he smiled.

"There is no need for you to apologize your Majesty, your health is what matters most, and I am sure that me family understands that" said Wura as she smiled at Alaric, she appreciated that he took time to explain his absence, he was really noble and humble, and that was what she liked about him most.

He just did not do things with arrogancy just because he was the King, no he had respect for others and their opinion of him, which was why she liked him very much.

"Oh thank you my dear" said Alaric as he smiled, he loved how understanding Wura was.

"How is your health now your Majesty?" asked Wura as she smiled.

"*Sigh*, Well I have had better days" said Alaric as he sighed.

"But I would be much better if you give me a kiss" said Alaric as he smiled.

"Haha" said Wura as she laughed, she never knew that Alaric could be so silly.

"What do you say my dear?" asked Alaric as he smiled.

"Of course your Majesty, why not?" asked Wura as she smiled and she pushed the dining chair out as she walked towards Alaric and she smiled and gave him a kiss on the cheek.

"Do you feel better now your Majesty?" asked Wura as she laughed.

"Yes, much better" said Alaric as he smiled.

"Thank you my dear" said Alaric as he smiled.

"You are welcome your Majesty" said Wura as she smiled and she walked back to her seat as she ignored Liam.

"Father, you really must take good care of your health" said Liam as he finally spoke up.

"Oh my boy, I have been taking care of my health" said Alaric as he smiled at Liam.

"Father, do not think that I do not know that you worked late yet once again yesterday evening" said Liam as he shook his head.

"Oh my boy, well you see I was…" said Alaric as he tried to explain.

"No need to explain father, you will not work at all today" said Liam.

"But…" said Alaric.

"But nothing father, your health is the most important thing, and you must not do a single thing today" said Liam in a tone that said "This is final and no room for refute"

"My dear, do you see the way your husband is treating me?" asked Alaric as he turned to look at Wura as he reported Liam to her, and Liam sighed and shook his head, his father really was not serious.

"Ah well…" said Wura as she was caught off guard, this was between the two of them, and Liam turned to look at her.

"Well your Majesty, he is right, you do need to rest, we want nothing but good health for you" said Wura as she smiled.

"Oh well alright my dear, since you say so, I will rest today" said Alaric as he smiled, and Liam scoffed, his Father could be so childish at times.

"After breakfast you are going straight to your room to rest" said Liam sternly.

"Alright my boy, alright" said Alaric as he began to eat, he felt like he was the child here.
