Finally meet you

"*Sigh*" said Wura as she sighed as she stared outside the window as she saw how the snow covered everywhere.

She stared outside the window as she held her left hand in her other hand, and she looked down at the ring on her finger as she twirled it around, she was contemplating, she found this ring a forever reminder of her stupid burden.

She wanted to take it off, but she found it pretty, and she did not want to raise suspicions, the ring was very shiny and golden, and it had three ruby stones that were on it, the rubies looked very pretty.

"My princess…" called Nora as she walked into the room and she found Wura looking very lost in thought as she did not even notice that she was here.

"My princess…" called Nora once again as Wura did not hear her once again.

"My princess??" called Nora once again as she walked forward and she gave Wura a light tap on her shoulder.

"Ahh…" said Wura as she snapped out of her many thoughts as she felt a light tap on her shoulder.

"My princess, I have been calling you, are you alright?" asked Nora as she looked worried, Wura was rarely deep in thought like that.

"Ah.. well Yes Nora, I am just fine" said Wura as she sighed and she smiled.

"Alright my princess" said Nora as she nodded her head, even though she was not sure that Wura was fine at all, she was twiddling her ring.

"My Princess, Lady Marli has arrived, shall I let her in?" asked Nora as she looked at Wura.

"Ahh, well yes, let her in" said Wura as she smiled.

"Alright my princess" said Nora as she nodded her head and she walked away.

Wura was currently in one of the Castles many drawing rooms, which was for relaxation, and it was on the lowest floor of the Castle, so Wura was sitting right next to the window as she looked outside and sighed.

"*Sigh*, Alright Wura, you need to relax, and be yourself again" said Wura as she sighed and she assured herself as in that same moment the door of the room opened and a middle aged woman with brown hair and brown eyes walked into the room was grace and elegance, as she wore a yellow coloured dress with long sleeves as she smiled slightly and she walked towards Wura with Nora following behind her.

"Good Noon Lady Marli" said Wura as she smiled and she stood up to greet Lady Marli.

"Good Noon my princess" said Lady Marli as she smiled.

"It is a pleasure for me to finally meet you" said Lady Marli as she smiled, but her smile was not too wide, neither was it not friendly.

"I can say the same Lady Marli" said Wura as she smiled.

"Please sit Lady Marli" said Wura as she smiled.

"Thank you my princess" said Lady Marli as she smiled and she sat at the little table across Wura and Wura sat down and she smiled.

"I was surprised that you wanted to meet me my princess" said Lady Marli.

"Ahh well, I have heard many good things about you, and I wanted to meet you for myself" said Wura as she smiled as Nora bowed and she poured both Wura and Lady Marli a cup of rose and hawthorn tea in a teacup.

"I am flattered my princess" said Lady Marli as she picked up the teacup and saucer as she breathed in the aroma of the tea.

"Rose and Hawthorn" said Lady Marli as she smiled.

"Yes… I heard that it was your favourite blend of tea" said Wura as she smiled and she picked up her own teacup and saucer.

"You have heard so much about me, and yet I know nothing at all about you, it makes me feel bad my princess" said Lady Marli as she smiled.

"Well there is no need for you to feel such way Lady Marli" said Wura as she smiled.

"Good people are always well known" said Wura as she smiled.

"Hmm" said Lady Marli as she smiled and she took a sip of her tea as Nora stepped back and she left the room.

Wura breathed in the aroma of the tea as well, it smelt inviting, so she followed after Lady Marli and she sipped the tea.

It was her first time tasting this blend of tea, and she could tell you, that she was a bit surprised, the tea was not bad, it actually had an interesting taste to it, but this was not a type of blend that she would continually drink, the taste was not for her at all.

"So Lady Marli" said Wura as she put the teacup and saucer back down on the table.

"How long have you been in the Castle?" asked Wura as she smiled.

"Well my princess… that would be for as long as I can remember" said Lady Marli.

"I grew up in this Castle as a little girl, I was born here, my mother was the keeper of the women, and her mother before that, and her mother before that" said Lady Marli as she explained.

"So this Castle is just like your home?" asked Wura as she smiled.

"Yes… it is my home, I grew up here, my childhood is here in all these walls" said Lady Marli as she smiled.

"Although his Majesty has been more than gracious to gift me a home in the town, but I would rather continue to stay here" said Lady Marli as she smiled.

"So Lady Marli, you could say that you watched his highness grow up?" asked Wura as she smiled.

"Well yes I did, I was a young woman when his highness was born" said Lady Marli.

"So you have watched his highness grow up?" asked Wura as she smiled.

"Oh yes I have, I have watched him grow from a baby, to the fine young man that he is" said Lady Marli as she smiled and Wura laughed, she could not imagine that Liam who was always in a bad mood as a baby, he must have been a very troublesome baby then.

"My princess, you have asked me many questions" said Lady Marli as she smiled.

"Oh… I truly do apologize if I was rude, you may of course ask me a question" said Wura as she smiled.

"No, not at all my princess, you were not rude at all" said Lady Marli as she glanced at the basket of scones and she took one.

"Oh Thank you" said Wura as she smiled, and Lady Marli smiled as well, the Princess was a rather polite young woman, which was very far from her earlier explanation.

"So my Princess, how old are you, if I may ask?" asked Lady Marli.

"Well I am eighteen years of age Lady Marli" said Wura as she smiled.

"I see" said Lady Marli, she did think that she Wura appeared quite young.

"Yes" said Wura as she smiled very brightly, it felt good to speak to someone else for a change.

"Psst, Nora" came Dawn's voice as she whispered and she called out to Nora who was just standing there and waiting.

"Dawn??" asked Nora as she looked at Dawn who was peeping through the corner of the hall.

"What are you doing here?" asked Nora as she was surprised.

"Come over here first" said Dawn as she looked around as if she was looking around in concern to see if anyone would see her.

Nora looked to the left and then to the right, she was the only one in this hall, and she was sure that Wura and Lady Marli would be in the drawing room for a long time, so she sighed and she walked over to where Dawn was hiding.

"What is it Dawn?" asked Nora.

"Are the princess and Lady Marli already having tea together?" asked Dawn.

"Yes they are" said Nora as she nodded her head.

"And what are they talking about?" asked Dawn.

"Well I do not know" said Nora.

"Then we must find out" said Dawn, she was worried that Lady Marli might scare their new princess.

"No, why would we need to do that?" asked Nora as she shook her head.

"Are you not worried that Lady Marli might scare the princess??" asked Dawn.

"Well no, the princess can take care of herself, I am sure that Lady Marli does not scare her" replied Nora simply.

"How are you so sure?" asked Dawn and Nora shook her head.

"Are you not supposed to be dusting the Castle?" asked Nora.

"Ah well… I…. I do, but I am taking a little break" said Nora as she smiled sheepishly.

"Well get back to dusting, I do not want Lady Marli to catch ups both here" said Nora as she shook her head seriously.

"Alright fine, I will go, but I still do not trust Lady Marli" said Dawn as she shook her head.

"Go" said Nora as she shook her head and Dawn walked away as she knew that Nora would report her to Lady Marli.
