Liam walked into his office, he would go to sleep, but that would be much later, but for now, there was still many things for him to do, he had many matters to settle.

Liam sat back down on his desk, he was about to start working again, that was until, he noticed another letter in the corner of his eye and he picked it up, he smiled, he could guess by now who had written the letter.

It would seem that the new means of communication that he and Wura used was now through letters, not that he did not like it, but it was a way for them to still communicate while he was still unable to see her because of how busy he was.

Liam did not waste a second at all as he opened the letter and he began to read it.

"I thank you for listening to me your Majesty, because in the end, your health Is all that matters.

And I also thank you for replying to my letter, because I do know that you are a very busy man.

Your Majesty, how are you doing, I just want you to know that if you need someone to talk or write letters to, I will always be available

Yours sincerely

Diwura Lily Scot" read the letter.

Liam smiled, she was being so kind to him.

"I do appreciate this Wura" said Liam to himself as he smiled, but it was at that moment that he realized something that he really did not like.

"She still signs her letters with her maiden name" said Liam out loud to himself, he did not know why, but that made him feel a little bit irritated, her last name was no longer Scot but Wyverdale, it would seem that she had no fully accepted that fact.

Liam smiled to himself as he thought that he was dwelling on this too much, he was going to write her another letter in return, and then he would continue on with his work.

Liam laughed to himself, he found it silly that they were writing letters to each other like little children, but a part of him could not help but to smile, his life was always much less boring whenever Wura was involved.

"*Yawn*" yawned Wura as she woke up and she rubbed her eyes as she looked outside her open window as the drapes were drawn back, which let the minimal winter sunlight into her room, she tossed in her bed as she was finally awake, it was another day.

She did not know if it was only her, but it would seem that the nights were always so short, one moment you closed your eyes to sleep and the next moment you were awake and it was already morning.

Wura yawned once again as she was still in a bit of a daze, she had slept so soundly that she did not even have a dream, or maybe she did dream, but she just forgot about it.

Wura turned to look to the left when she heard her bedroom door open.

"Good Morrow my Queen, you are already awake" said Nora as she smiled and she walked into Wura's room.

"Good Morrow Nora, yes I am" said Wura as she smiled at Nora.

"My Queen, how did you sleep?" asked Nora as she smiled.

"Very soundly, thank you for asking Nora" said Wura as she smiled and Nora smiled.

"And how did you sleep Nora?" asked Wura.

"I slept well my Queen, thank you" said Nora as she smiled and Wura smiled at her.

"My Queen, shall I prepare your bath?" asked Nora as she smiled.

"Go ahead Nora" said Wura as she smiled, she did not know why but she had been feeling very good since this morning, she did not know if it was because she slept so well, or if it was because she was happy because of Liam, she really hoped that it was the first, because she did not know why Liam affected her so much.

"Alright my Queen, I shall return soon" said Nora as she bowed and Wura smiled.

"Nora, who was that at the door?" asked Wura as she walked out of the bathing room while she used a towel to dry her hair.

"Ahh my Queen, it was one of the guards, he brought a letter from his Majesty for you" said Nora as she turned to look at Wura and she smiled, if you asked her, she believed that Liam and Wura were behaving like forbidden lovers whose only means of communication with each other was to write letters.

"Oh… I see" said Wura as she tried her best to act like she was not happy that he had sent her another letter in return, but the happy smile on her face betrayed her.

"Yes my Queen" said Nora as she nodded her head as she handed Wura the letter and Wura did not even waste a single second as she opened the letter and it read.

"I thank you for you care Wura, I am well, and how are you doing?" read the letter as it was very short.

One thing Wura had realized about Liam was that he wrote very short letters to her, and she had tried her best to write him a short letter yesterday.

"My Queen?" called Nora as she noticed that Wura was lost in her thoughts.

"Yes Nora" said Wura as she snapped out of her thoughts.

"My Queen, are you alright?" asked Nora.

"Yes I am Nora, I am just thinking on what I should write in reply to his Majesty" said Wura as she seemed to be thinking.

"Ahh, well alright my Queen" said Nora.

"Yes Nora, he asked me how I am doing, and I do not know what to say" said Wura, she did not want to say that she was happy because they were finally communicating again, because that would just lead to a misunderstanding, and neither did she want to say that she was sad well because she was not sad at all, and if she did say that, she was sure that he would surely ask her why she was sad.

"Well how are you feeling right now my Queen?" asked Nora.

"I am feeling alright" said Wura.

"Then why do you not just tell his Majesty that?" asked Nora.

"You think so?" asked Wura as she looked at Nora.

"I think it is too simple" said Wura to herself as she groaned, she was just overcomplicating the whole thing.

Nora smiled as she had never seen Wura behave in this manner before.

"Why are you smiling Nora? Is something funny?" asked Wura as she noticed that Nora was smiling.

"No not at all my Queen" said Nora as she shook her head.

"Alright you know what Nora, I will just go with what you have said" said Wura as she decided that it was for the best.

"As you wish my Queen" said Nora as she nodded her head.

"My Queen, would you like me to do your hair?" asked Nora.

"Oh yes please Nora" replied Wura as Nora smiled and she sat down at the dressing table as she was still thinking.

"Alright my Queen" said Nora as she smiled, she could not tell who was more silly between Liam or Wura.

Over the past few days, Wura and Liam had been communicating through letters, it was on the third day as It was noon, Wura was paining while Nora watched her in silence.

"Oh Nora, I am in dire need of purple paint" said Wura as she sighed, she needed purple paint to complete this painting of the landscape that she was working on.

"Where shall I find it for you my Queen?" asked Nora.

"I have no idea Nora, purple paint is very rare and expensive to make" said Nora.

"I could have as well just mixed the red and blue paints together, but the colour is not as vibrant as I want it to be" said Wura as she sighed, she needed quality purple paint, and that was very rare to find.

One thing that Nora had noticed about Wura when she painted was that Wura was very particular about her paintings, everything had to be perfect, from the colour, to the shades and the saturation.

"My Queen, will you not be able to complete your painting without the purple paint?" asked Nora.

"I might be able to, but It would not be the final outcome that I wanted" said Wura as she sighed, she would just take a break and think some more.

"My Queen I…" said Nora as she was interrupted by a knock on the door.

"I will get the door my Queen" said Nora as she walked to the door and she opened it as there was a guard standing outside.

"Good Noon" said the guard.

"Good noon" replied Nora as she smiled.

"I come here on behalf of his Majesty, he has asked me to inform her Majesty the Queen, that he will be departing on a journey and he would return in a days' time" the guard.

"I will inform her Majesty" said Nora as she nodded her head and the guard nodded at her as he walked away and she closed the door.

"Who was that?" asked Wura as Nora turned to look at her.

"It was one of the Castle guards my Queen" said Nora.

"He came to tell you that his Majesty said that he will be going on a journey and he would return in a day's time" said Nora as she explained.

"Oh…" said Wura.

"Well I wish him safe journeys" said Wura as she did not know what else to say, he did not need to inform her if he did not want to.

"I wish him the same my Queen" said Nora as she nodded her head.

"Sire, I have returned and I have informed her Majesty about your journey" said the guard as he bowed down in front of Liam in Liam's office.

"Alright thank you" said Liam as he smiled.

"Sire" said the guard.

"Yes?" asked Liam.

"I overheard her Majesty and her handmaiden speaking, it would appear that her Majesty requires purple paint" said the guard as his duty was to tell Liam everything he had heard.

"I see…" said Liam as he suddenly had an idea.

"Thank you for telling me" said Liam.

"It Is my duty my King" said the guard as he stood up.

"You may go now" said Liam.

"Thank you Sire" said the guard as he bowed his head and he walked away as he walked out of Liam's office.

"Well then, we may go now Mero" said Liam as he turned to look at Mero who was sitting right across him, there was something that he needed to tend to not too far away in a neighbouring town of Wyvedale, and Mero was accompanying him.

"You are thinking of something are you not?" asked Mero as he looked at Liam.

"You know me well, Mero" said Liam as he smiled.

"But for now, let us go" said Liam as he stood up, he wanted to return back to the Castle soon.

"Alright then" said Mero as he stood up and he followed after Liam.

The next day.

"My Queen, Lady Marli asked me to ask you if you would want anything special for dinner this evening?" asked Nora as she looked at Wura who was reading a book.

"Well no Nora, I really do not have anything in mind, they can prepare anything that they want" said Wura as she smiled.

"Alright my Queen" said Nora as she smiled and suddenly there was a knock on the door.

"I will get it my Queen" said Nora smiling.

"Alright Nora" said Wura as she smiled and she went back to reading as Nora opened the door as she was met with a surprise.

"Umm my Queen" called Nora.

"Yes Nora, is something wrong?" asked Wura as she could sense a change in Nora's tone and she turned to look at her.

"My Queen, there is something here for you" said Nora as she closed the door and she walked with a heavy looking chest in her hands.

"From who?" asked Wura in suspicion.

"I was told that you should open it for yourself my Queen" said Nora as Wura was confused and suspicious.
