Happy

Some days later.

It was a warm summer's day, the morning sun was shining warmly, and the wind gently blew the flowers outside, as the birds flew in the sky.

"My Queen, what would you like to wear today?" asked Nora with a smile as she snapped Wura out of her thoughts as Wura turned to look at her with a smile.

"I honestly do not know" said Wura as she looked out the window and then at Nora, the bright colour of the sun outside was just calling to her, she felt like going outside, but she had been too busy to go anywhere.

"Should I give you some more time to think?" asked Nora with a smile.

"No, if I do that I will be late for breakfast" said Wura.

"I could always bring your breakfast to your room my Queen" said Nora with a smile.

"I know, but I want to go somewhere else besides my room and my office" replied Wura.

"Alright my Queen, do you at least have an idea of what you do not want to wear?" asked Nora as Wura shook her head and seemed to be thinking. Nora just smiled at her, she was happy to see Wura so happy after such a long time of suffering.

Her happiness over the past few days could not be matched at all, she was always beaming with a smile, and Nora was sure that she had an idea why that was so.

"Aha, I know, Liam says that he likes seeing me in yellow… so how about a yellow dress?" asked Wura with a smile.

"Yellow it is my Queen" replied Nora with a smile as she walked to Wura's closet and she looked for a nice yellow dress as she found one and showed it to Wura who smiled and loved the dress that was picked out.

"Nora you are coming to dinner tonight right?" asked Wura as she looked at Nora's reflection in the dressing table mirror as Nora was brushing her hair.

"Of course my Queen, his Majesty did ask that everyone be there, including Elihu, Zechariah and Luc, and besides Mero invited me as well" said Nora with a smile as Wura did not miss the way Nora smiled brightly when she mentioned Mero's name.

"Yes he did" said Wura with a smile.

"You sounded quite happy when you mentioned Mero's name" said Wura as she and Nora's eyes met in the mirror and Nora laughed shyly.

"I…" said Nora as she did not know what to say and that made Wura laugh.

"It is alright Nora, you do not have to explain anything, I am happy that you are happy, and that we are all happy" said Wura with a smile.

"I am happy about that as well my Queen" said Nora as she smiled.

"Nora has Lillia delivered the new dresses?" asked Wura.

"Ahh yes she has, I forgot to inform you, they are back in your room, I mean your old room" said Nora.

"That is perfect, did you check the dresses?" asked Wura.

"Yes I did my Queen, they all look wonderful, the seamstress is wonderful in her craft" said Nora.

"Oh I know she is, did you see a light blue dress?" asked Wura.

"Yes my Queen I did, shall I bring it for you to see?" asked Nora.

"No, the dress is for you Nora" said Wura with a smile.

"For me?" asked Nora in surprise.

"Yes for you, you have to wear it to dinner tonight, and I am not taking no for an answer, it is yours" said Wura with a smile.

"My Queen, I do not know what to say" said Nora as she looked at Wura in surprise.

"You do not need to say anything Nora, you deserve more than one simple dress for always being by my side no matter what" said Wura.

"You deserve to be paid more for all your efforts and loyalty towards me" said Wura.

"I do not do it for money my Queen, I do it because I care for you" said Nora.

"I know you do, and I care for you too Nora" replied Wura as she turned around and hugged Nora.

"Wear the dress tonight, and I cannot wait to see you in it" said Wura with a smile.

"Thank you my Queen" said Nora.

"You are welcome" said Wura with a smile.

"Let me finish styling your hair my Queen" said Nora with a smile as Wura nodded and turned around as Nora finished styling her hair.

"Come in" said Wura as she heard a knock on the door to her office.

"My Queen Elihu wants to know if you require any guards to follow the maids to the market?" asked Nora as she walked int Wura's office and Wura looked at her.

"Ahh well no, not really, I trust them, I doubt that they would use the money given to them for something else" said Wura.

"Alright my Queen, I will inform him" said Nora.

"Alright, thank you Nora, but do you think that a guard should follow them?" asked Wura.

"Well my Queen, in my opinion, there is nothing wrong with one guard following them, just in case, and also for their own safety" said Nora.

"I believe you are right, alright, tell Elihu to send one guard with them" said Nora.

"Alright my Queen, I will do so right away, and also his Majesty told me to inform you that he is unable to join you for tea this noon" said Nora.

"Well that is alright" replied Wura as she smiled.

"Please excuse me my Queen" said Nora as she bowed her head and left the office as Wura sighed as she pursed her lips.

How nice, Liam had missed breakfast and now he was unable to join her for tea at noon, she missed seeing him, even though she had just seen him this morning when they woke up, but she still missed him.

Wura had nothing else to do than to wait till dinner, she was a bit bored, she contemplated going to meet Liam.

There was nothing wrong with that, he was her husband after all, and she did recall him saying that she was allowed to come and meet him anytime any day.

Wura stood up as she concluded that she would go meet him, she doubted that he would be upset with her for coming to his office.

Wura stopped in front of the door to Liam's office as she did not even bother knocking, she was allowed her.

Wura opened the door and walked into the room as she saw Liam sitting at his desk and reading something intently, so intently that he did not notice anyone walking in.

Wura could see that he was busy so she decided not to disturb him, instead she was going to patiently wait for him to finish reading whatever he was reading, she just stood there with a smile quietly waiting for him to notice her.

Liam looked up from his desk when he smelt the familiar scent of his favourite person and his eyes met hers as she was smiling at him.

"I can see that you are very busy" said Wura with a smile as Liam smiled at her and she walked to him and gave him a kiss.

"That I am, but I am never too busy for you" replied Liam as she gave him another kiss.

"Hmm you say that but you told Nora that you will be unable to have tea with me at noon, and you even skipped breakfast this morning" said Wura as Liam stood up.

"I had an early meeting with Baron Melvin my love, I am sorry, please forgive me for not being able to spend time with the most beautiful woman in the world" said Liam apologetically as he kissed her hands and she chuckled.

"Hmm right… you are just saying that so I do not get upset" said Wura.

"Not at all my love, I really mean it darling, I am sorry for not spending enough time with you, let me make it up to you" said Liam as he smiled.

"How?" asked Wura curiously as she looked at Liam, knowing him, he probably had something planned, she wondered what it was.

"Just wait and see" said Liam as that caused Wura to groan.

"Liam just tell me please, I want to know, how do you plan on making it up to me" said Wura as Liam just laughed and it annoyed her.

"Meet me at the stables in a few minutes" said Liam with a smile.

"Liam, tell me!!" said Wura as Liam laughed.

"I due time my love, go and get ready first" said Liam with a smile as Wura frowned at him, knowing fully well that he would tell her nothing.

"Go on, go and get ready my love, you will find out in due time darling, in due time" he said as he gave her a quick kiss and she frowned and stormed out of his office as he chuckled.
