You sure

Wura looked at what appeared to be a small tiny bite mark that had now turned into something red and itchy looking, as if it was inflamed, and it worried her, Mero should have been more careful.

"Oh well it is nothing my Queen, I am sure that it is nothing serious" replied Mero calmly.

"Nothing serious Mero? This looks very serious, it looks, red, itchy and inflamed and uncomfortable" said Wura as she looked at him, clearly sure that he was only lying to her so she would not make a big deal out of it.

"Well I do not really feel anything there my Queen" replied Mero simply as Wura looked at him in a mix of confusion and surprise.

"You do not?" asked Wura as Mero nodded.

"If anything, my hand feels normal, I am in no sort of pain or discomfort at all" replied Mero as he was being sincere, the bite might have looked serious, but it actually was not at all.

He was sure that his skin was only reacting negatively to the bite, everything else was just fine.

Mero looked at Wura, seeing the obviously skeptical look on her face as she looked as if she was between believing his words or not.

"Are you really sure about that Mero?" asked Wura as she did not get it, how could something this bad have no effect on him at all.

"Yes my Queen, I am sure" said Mero as he nodded and smiled.

"Mero, I am finding it hard to believe you, just look at how horrible it looks and yet you tell me that you feel nothing?" asked Wura as she was still holding on to his hand.

"Well my Queen, looks can be deceiving" replied Mero as he smiled and Wura shook her head.

"That may be, but I am worried about how this one looks" said Wura in worry as she kept on looking at his hand.

"Maybe you are having an allergic reaction and you are just not aware of it, which is dangerous, we should call the physician so he can have a look at that bite and assure us that it is nothing serious at all" said Wura as Mero shook her head.

"My Queen, that would not be necessary at all" said Mero as Wura looked at him.

"It will not?" she asked in confusion, not liking how Mero was not taking this seriously at all.

It just showed how unfair he was, if it was her that had gotten bitten, he and the others would stop at nothing to make sure that she had the bite looked at my the Physician even if she insisted that she was alright and it was nothing, they would all insist otherwise.

"No my Queen, I have had my fair share of bites, this is nothing serious, the swelling and redness should go away in a few hours" said Mero in assurance.

"And you are very sure about that?" asked Wura as Mero nodded.

"And how sure are you of that?" asked Wura once more.

"Very sure my Queen" said Mero as he nodded and Wura scoffed and looked down at his hand once more.

"You are such a hypocrite Mero, when it comes to you being hurt, you shrug it off like nothing, and yet if our roles were switched and I was the one bitten, you would not let me rest at all until you have called the Physician over" said Wura as she scoffed.

"That is not true at all my Queen" said Mero as Wura scoffed again.

"Oh it is, you will not let me call the physician" said Wura.

"Because my Queen, this truly is nothing serious, believe me, if it was serious both you and I would be very sure of that, but as for now, this is nothing that cannot be healed with time" said Mero as Wura scoffed, losing count of how many times she felt like rolling her eyes at him and hitting him, he was so unfair.

Wura was busy frowning as she looked at his hand and a loose strand of her curly hair dropped in front of her face as her frown deepened and Mero subconsciously reached out and tucked the loose strand of her hair behind her ear.

Wura looked up in a stupor of surprise as in the same moment her eyes met with Mero's as Wura felt her heart start beating faster as she was unable to look away.

Mero on the other hand did not even bother looking away, his eyes remained fixed on Wura's and her eyes on his, it was like everything else mattered no more in the moment.

Wura felt her breath itch, she was feeling something indescribable from just his gaze alone, and to make it even worse, his hand was still behind her hair, tucked with her loose curl.

Wura tried really hard to snap out of whatever it was that was pulling her towards Mero, but she just could not, she just remained there, staring into his eyes.

As much as she did not want to admit it, she felt an attraction to him, whether it had always been there, or dormant until they had shared a kiss, it was there now, and that was what caused her to be so affected by his mere presence and little touch.

Wura knew that she could not lie to herself, she just tried to keep as calm as possible, but she knew one thing, she was not about to kiss Mero again, no never again, the first time was a mistake, and she was not ready to make another mistake like that again.

Mero on the other hand did not seem to know what he was doing, not until he let out a soft smile and he focused on the surprised reaction on Wura's face, causing him to snap out of his minor daze as he realized what he had just done could have been considered improper, causing him to retract his hand immediately, breaking the daze they had both been with.

As soon as the daze was broken Wura took a step back quickly and looked confused.

"*Ahem* Sorry my Queen, there was a loose strand of your hair, I thought to help you with it..." said Mero as he cleared his throat, he did not even know what he was saying, why would he need to help her with something like that?

"It is alright Mero... thank you for your kind gesture" said Wura as she forces out a smile.

"I am sorry if I stepped over any boundaries my Queen, or upset you by my actions" said Mero apologetically.

"No, no Mero, I am not upset at all, you did nothing wrong, you meant well, why would I be upset by your harmless gesture?" asked Wura as she smiled at him, he could be so sweet and considerate sometimes, she was the one that had to apologize for the way she had reacted, he did nothing wrong, he was only being thoughtful.

"Thank you my Queen" said Mero as he smiled.

"No need to thank me, if anything I am the one to blame, Nora usually helps me pack my hair neatly, but today I was too lazy to try to do anything with it, so I left it down, and when I do that, it gets all loose and bouncy and ultimately annoying to deal with" said Wura as she laughed and Mero laughed.

"Oh I hate my hair sometimes, it is so annoying to maintain" said Wura as she sighed and she ran her fingers through her hair.

"Do not say such things my Queen, I think your hair is... beautiful" said Mero.

"You really think so?" asked Wura as Mero nodded.

"it is unique" said Mero sincerely.

"Oh thank you Mero" said Wura as she laughed, really pleased with his compliment.

"It may be unique but still annoying, but thank you for saying that" said Wura as she smiled.

"You are welcome my Queen" replied Mero as he smiled.

"You know what Mero, I have something to ask of you" said Wura as Mero looked confused.

"What is it my Queen?" asked Mero.

"Please would you stop calling me 'my Queen'" said Wura.

"How so my Queen? That is who you are" replied Mero.

"That is true, but being Queen is only my title, I have name you know, and that name is Wura" said Wura as she smiled.

"Call me Wura, I would prefer it if you called me by my name and not by my title" said Wura as she smiled, seeing that Mero was hesitant.

"My Queen I do not know about th..." said Mero as he was cut off.

"Oh come on Mero, I am not asking for much, just call me Wura, it is not that hard, I call you Mero all the time" said Wura.

"Yes but this is different" said Mero as Wura laughed.

"It is not different at all Mero, we are much closer than titles, call me Wura" said Wura as she smiled.

"I will see if I can..." said Mero as Wura laughed.

"Oh Mero, you are too much honestly" said Wura as she laughed.

"I have to take my leave now, I have been here for far too long, I will see you later, and if the swelling and redness has not gone down after a few hours as you have said, I am calling the Physician" said Wura as she smiled and she left the room, leaving Mero standing there... thinking.
