What is it?

Wura looked very thrilled and excited and that was because she was. There was just something great about being here, and being part of the action and actually helping and being present.

She was so proud of herself, she had honestly not thought that things would go this good, or smoothly but to her surprise, it was like everyone was actually listening to her, like her orders and opinions mattered and it just made Wura feel so relieved and thankful.

To be honest, who was she to gain all the people's respect? It was not like she had paid them all to respect her, or to like her, but they just did, and it made her feel so relieved because she thought for a moment that she was only talking to herself, but to hear them listen and actually respond to what she meant so honestly, it made to be filled with so much gratitude.

Wura turned to look at Mero as she could see a small smile on his face that slowly disappeared and that caused Wura to start worrying, had she forgotten that he was still somewhat upset with her?

How could she have, and as she had just remembered now, she wanted to make sure to apologize to him right now.

"Mero I have something to tell you" said Wura as Mero turned to look at her.

"What is it my Queen?" asked Mero as Wura winced, she had not noticed it before, but he had been calling her 'my Queen' and not Wura, that just showed how upset he was with her, he did not mind calling her name before, but she noticed that had changed ever since she said something to offend him.

"Mero I want to ap-" said Wura as she was cut off before she could render her apology.

"Excuse me my Queen, I apologize but I require the assistance of Sir Mero" said one of the other guards as Wura looked at him and Mero turned to look in his direction as two other guards were bringing down the makeshift platform that they had made.

"What it is?" asked Mero.

"Sorry to bother you Sir Mero, but we require your assistance in determining what portion should be given to whom" said the guard as he bowed his head, for some reason Mero looked like he was angry, which was odd.

"Why do you need my assistance for that? Have you not been deciding that on your own before I arrived here?" asked Mero as his tone was harsh but his voice as calm as ever.

"We have" replied the guard.

"Then continue handling things the way you have been handling them, or is there a problem?" asked Mero with a frown as the guard looked up.

"Sir Mero, there is a problem, before you arrived we have some people complaining that they should receive more and we cannot argue with them, not while you are here to explain the orders that you gave to us directly, so I believe it is best that you assist us and oversee what we do" said the guard as he gave a good point.

"Alright then, go on, I will be right there" said Mero.

"Thank you Sir Mero" said the guard as he nodded and smiled in relief before bowing his head at Wura and leaving.

"I am sorry my Queen, but I have to leave you now, I ask that you please stay here where they are several guards in sight, I should be back soon" said Mero as he did not really like the idea or leaving Wura or alone, or maybe it was more like he did not trust her to stay in one place while he was busy sorting out something that should have already been handled properly.

"Mero you do not have to leave me, let me go with you, please, I can help as well" said Wura as she smiled.

"No, that is not going to be possible, it is too crowded in the camp, it is best that you stay here if you want to go into the camp later, that can be arranged, but you cannot go on your own, and I am sure you will only distract the guards more than assist them" said Mero as he did not mean that in a bad way but Wura frowned, had she gone back to being basically useless again?

"Alright then... it is fine, I assure you that I will not go anywhere" said Wura as she agreed easily and Mero was surprised that she did.

"Thank you, I will see you soon" he said as he left but not before gesturing to two guards that were standing nearby to keep an eye on her.

Wura scoffed and frowned as she watched the fading figure of Mero as he disappeared into the crowed.

Wura sighed in annoyance, now what was she supposed to do? She was so sure that her role had changed, but it was clear that even the guards gave Mero more power and respect more than her.

Not that she did not like that, but she wanted to help as well, what was the point of being here when she could not do anything but stand here with nothing tangible to do?

And to make matters worse she had not yet had a chance to apologize to Mero, it seemed that every time she wanted to apologize to him something interrupted her, and he was still very much clearly upset with her.

Wura was snapped out of her thoughts when she suddenly noticed that the guards Mero told to watch over her moved from the considerable distance that they had been standing at and they moved very close to her, as if trying to shield her from someone or something.

"Please stay back" said one of the guards as Wura turned to look at them as they both had their backs turned to her.

"What is the matter?" asked Wura in confusion as one of the guards turned to look at her.

"Nothing is the matter my Queen, but it seems that this woman wants to disturb you.

"Which woman?" asked Wura in confusion as she urged the guards to move away.

"Sorry to disturb her Majesty, I will just take my leave now" came the soft voice of a woman as she turned to walk away but Wura stopped her.

"No wait" she said as she walked around the guards as they tried to stop her but she glared at them.

"I told everyone that they could approach me for anything and they truly can, so please move aside and you do not have to suffocate me, I am not going anywhere, I will be right here, so please move" said Wura as the guards looked at each other and then at her before nodding.

"As you wish your Majesty" they said as they retreated back to where they had been before and Wura sighed in relief.

"I apologize for that truly, they meant no harm, they are only trying to protect me, I truly hope that you are not offended, is there anything that I can help you with?" asked Wura as she looked at the woman and smiled friendly at her.

The woman on the other hand looked like she would faint at any second, she had an exceptionally shocked and happy look on her face and she was silent, so silent to the point that Wura was worried if she was alright.

"Umm are you alright?" asked Wura in concern as she did not like how silent the woman was, it was almost worrying.

"Oh my forgive me... yes yes your Majesty I am alright, it is just that I... I cannot believe that you are actually here and I am standing right in front of you...in front of royalty, oh my..." said the woman as she quickly snapped out of her daze.

"Oh where are my manners, greetings your Majesty" said the woman as she gave a little curtsey.

"Oh that is unnecessary, you do not need to curtsey greetings to you as well" said Wura as she smiled, relieved that the woman was talking again and she was very lively and she looked rather nervous which Wura found funny.

The woman had brown hair and brown eyes, she was of a short stature and she looked as if she was middle aged, her hair was tied under a brown scarf.

"Oh but I must my Queen, it is such an honour, such an honour to be graced with your presence" said the woman honestly as Wura just smiled.

"I apologize if I am bothering you" said the woman as she quickly composed herself, realizing that she was probably making a fool out of herself in front of Wura.

"Oh no, no, not at all, you are not bothering me, in fact I am very happy to see you, please tell me what I can do to help you in any way?" asked Wura as she smiled very softly.
