Two days passed, and it was time to go to the beautiful kingdom of Syndromane. Blaine and Kade were dressing up, just attaching their belts to their uniform whenever they were going somewhere special.
"So, what do you wanna do there?" Blaine asked Kade, while he was just about to tighten his belt. "I don't know, I just hope it's worth leaving this place," Kade replied.
After they were done dressing up, they came out the door. Xavier was there waiting for their arrival, and he seemed pretty happy for this certain trip they were going on.
"Ready princes?" he asked, and they both nodded.
They started walking to the elevator, going down to the first floor, and then finally arriving at the front door of the castle.
The limo was prepared as usual, but something was different. Maybe it was the fact that there were five limos right behind it. Blaine wasn't sure why there was so much, but he decided to not think too much about it.
When they got inside of the limo, they immediately started driving away.
The ride to Syndormane was not too long as thought, coming in at two hours. But eventually, they arrived in the kingdom.
It seemed as if they were preparing for their arrival, because all the gates were open with a bunch of soldiers with guns and swords standing outside.
They entered some parking lot, where there were a bunch of cars that were parked, except one space. Kade guessed it was probably a bunch of kingdoms meeting at some place or somewhere.
When they arrived, the drivers got out of the car and opened the door for the royal family, except for Iris—which they saw yesterday at night.
She was going to a negotiation meeting with another kingdom, although no one knew which.
"Okay, so me and Peter are going to meet with the king, okay guys?" Micah said. "Xavier will follow you guys okay?"
"Alright," Blaine and Kade said, with big smiles.
"Okay."
Micah walked into a green door, as well as Peter—who gave them a quick hug before he finally closed the door.
"Okay, so what do you want to do?" Xavier asked the two boys. Kade shrugged. "Explore the city or something like that."
Xavier nodded slowly.
"Okay, well let's go," he said, as he followed them.
Micah finally made it to the king's door, which was decorated with a green color, with gold outlines of a dragon on there.
"This isn't a bad door," Micah said to Peter. Peter chuckled, "You can say that again."
Then, the doors opened with guards standing by it, while there was a carpet that was red that stretched all the way to the throne, where the king was sitting.
He was wearing a robe that was also green, and also had gold outlines.
"They must like green—a lot." Peter said, examining all the drapes and pictures stationed on the wall.
"Hello, King Micah," the Syndromian king greeted, as he got up from his seat. He walked over to the kings, and gave a quick hug to them.
"Hello, king," Micah returned. "How was your day?" "Well it just got better with you coming here," the Syndromian king replied. "I'm Lord Jalifax, and this must be your brother Peter?"
Peter nodded. "Your majesty," he said as a sign of respect.
"No need for that," Lord Jalifax said. "Now, I heard you came here to discuss some pulses that are happening in my kingdom?"
"Yes, we've come to investigate," he said, while getting something from under his jacket. He brought out his phone and turned it on, just to see if there were any notifications.
"Okay, I'll send some of my guys to accompany you when you get to the site where the pulses are—which you know where they are, right?" he asked.
Micah nodded confidently.
"Alright, I'll be attending my lunch and I hope I'll see you again," he said, putting his hands inside the opposite sleeves.
Micah nodded. "Follow me," one of them, who had a black suit and sunglasses, said. They looked like agents, probably because they were.
Micah and Peter followed behind them, and they led to a white limo, with agents standing at each corner. "Hello, men," Micah said, as one of them opened the door.
Inside smelled like lavender, which they thoroughly enjoyed. The driver got into the limo, and pushed the pedal to start their journey to their destination.
As they were getting there, he saw the house—cabin in fact—that was standing on some dirt. "The pulse is in there?" Peter wondered.
"We'll see," Micah assured. "It's probably something else, although I'm not sure what."
They arrived at the cabin, with Micah seeing the family: two parents and three children, outside of the house.
There were a bunch of other cars parked there too. Starting from limos to SUV's of some sort. It must've been something to worry about.
The limo stopped its momentum, and the driver's got out, while the agents prepared the way for Micah and Peter.
Micah looked at the family, who seemed to be pretty scared. One of them had their hands over their mouth, as if they knew what was going on.
But he wasn't too sure and he walked in with the rest of them.
The door opened to a living room, with a big sofa that was by the right, and a big TV was in front of it that was on a light brown counter.
He saw other agents in the area, as well as someone he didn't expect to see—but very thrilled to see him.
"Dr. Vicks?" he asked, as the man with a bit of gray hair in a white jacket turned back and looked at him.
"Do I know you?" he asked, as Micah chuckled. "Seriously?"
"Nah, just kidding, how are you doing!"
They both came in with a hug, making Peter realize many times that they hugged some of their friends. "So, what are you here for?" Micah asked.
"Lord Jalifax thought this might be a very important thing to inspect and survey," Dr. Vicks said. "They were also trying to contact Dr. Lenz here too."
"Hmm, so do you know what you've found?" Peter asked. Dr. Vicks shrugged, "So far we've felt the pulses continuously for some time, but it feels like the whole house is bouncing or something like that."
"Huh," Peter said in an undertone. He walked over and touched the walls, feeling a bit of the pulse, but not too much to where the house would feel like there is an earthquake.
But something felt different.
It wasn't as if it was only coming from the ground, it was like energy was transferring from both places. It was a weird feeling, as if there were two hearts inside your hand.
Plus, it was right beside the wall—meaning it was possible it was under the panel. "Did you guys start digging yet?" Peter asked.
"No, not yet," one of the agents replied.
Peter nodded, but knew that they needed to do it right now, but how exactly? What could he use to somehow open a hole inside of the house?
At that moment he got an idea.
At warp speed, he picked up his sword. He went for the middle of the wood and sliced in a circular motion, and it descended into the hole.
And at that moment, everyone's eyes widened in awe. Shock was written over their faces.
