Similar to the explosions at Shivan, the shuttle was hurtled forward by the air pocket explosions made by El's manipulation of the air. She separated the hydrogen and nitrogen and caused them to explode while using the oxygen in the air to create a more significant fire.

If done repeatedly, each explosion's force would increase in magnitude and cause the object to be pushed forward. This simple string of detonations would be the main reason the Beowolf meteor never lost speed as it climbed. The shuttle broke the speed of sound even before it left the ramp. Once it did, the very air was being split as the shuttle passed by.

When the shuttle left Oliran and climbed upwards, the Shivan residents were again amazed at the unique way of transportation. However, the Oliran militia and Sverd's regiment knew how strong a weapon the meteor would make upon landing.
