The Last Light's War: The Fall of the Righteous

In an area around Aveda, thousands of elves were running across the plains in a chaotic mob; they were being chased by demonic beasts that looked like rabbits with two extra arms on their shoulders. The dog-sized monsters had heads like frogs but razor-sharp teeth like sharks; on their backs were dragonfly wings that vibrated with a buzzing sound.

Thousands of these dragbits, short for dragonfly rabbits, were hunting the elves running towards Heliskina. Originally the elves were retreating in an orderly fashion; however, as more and more dragbits rushed past the Beowulf as the rear guard, the demonic beasts started hunting the elves, causing them to scatter.
