Magic Mirror on the wall, who was the most stupid of them all? "Famed for stupidity is thee, but there art someone else I see. A young lad left another comment suggestion-James do be mad.

Yes, this was a quote directly from white snow. In other words, everyone's favourite thing─cocaine. Why else would people write their suggestions so carelessly? While I did appreciate the desire to throw random OP characters at me, I highly doubt they would be of any help to me here.

Not because of their lack of ability or due to their abnormal harem size. These characters were called OP for a very good reason; it was just that this current setting was not very friendly to outsiders.

It could not harm any one of them directly, but these systems could do something far worse. They would give them blatant wish-fulfilment. Whatever they wanted, once it was given to them, what more could they desire?

And, what exactly was an overpowered character without motivation? Exactly, it was not a problem anymore.

Regardless of their flavour-of-the-month OP-type, none of them would move a finger if there was no problem. The lazy, those that hide their powers, the righteous type, the evil villains, the heroes, the demons, the chosen by the Heavens, the Gods, the final boss, the guys that file your taxes none of them would care in the slightest if everything was a-okay.

Which brought us to today's stupidly worded request.

"You shall recruit one of my characters, named Glace, and she shall help you defeat Wishmoppu."

I appreciated the intent behind the statement, but had these people never learned their lesson? Even her bio said and lemme quote here: "Crazy Psychopath, turns other people into glass to her entertainment. Proceed with caution"

Below was a list of her victims that made me realize that her novel would never run into a glass shortage ever again. Provided, of course, people were not against using the newly gained 100% renewable resource awfully similarly looking to their mother-in-law.

Glace would certainly do her part and create as much new glass as possible.

Recruiting her to fight against a sentient Evil Mop did not seem like the smartest of choice, at least in my eyes. Though who cared about the main character in this novel either way?

Might as well introduce her to my very first MC, these psychos were made for one another. Both had more issues than your average Ecchi manga in Japan. They were mentally as stable as a seesaw and belonged together like America did with its guns.

To sum it up, crazy people needed other crazy people in their life.

Yet, I did not need these types of lunatics in my story. There were enough idiots running amock already. Therefore, there was no choice worse than to introduce her into this story.

It was unpredictable enough as is and did not need more parties involved. Yes, that included them celebrating random stuff and a "Glace" to spice things up. Nonetheless, she would surely come here and gave her "Crazy Biatch" impression.

Before scurrying back into her own universe and doing crazy things there again. Seriously, just phrase things better next time and we would not be having this type of problem.

But, as you might have guessed by now, I was just messing around and pretending to be afraid.

Glace had arrived a long time ago and was busy enjoying herself fighting against Wishmoppu and the rat-abomination.

To be more precise, she was fighting against them in a parallel world. Given her Mirror type magic, it was no wonder that her world was mirroring this one. While the crazy person was happily destroying and turning everything into glass─I was busy doing sweet FA.

Glace was having an earth-shattering battle against Wishmoppu with all sorts of magical abilities related to Mirrors, but I had buttons to press and gold to earn. How could I pay much attention to her deadly attacks?

Certainly, that character I had to recruit for this chapter was very overpowered and a world-ending threat to all sorts of beings, but there were far more important things in life than just strength.

Being crazily obsessed with mirrors, as her bio said, was not very healthy for anyone involved.

Instead of murdering countless people to prove to the world how strong Mirror magic was, how about, ya know, doing less murder stuff. Maybe, one could use the nearly limitless power to not be a psychotic mess.

Overpowered villains always produced even more overpowered main characters and nobody would want to have them come knocking on your door one day. What's the purpose of having all the magic, when your life would surely magically disappear through the power of plot?

Therefore, she was given the chance to live out her fantasy. How truly great--to be presented with a world where she could murder for all of eternity. Was this not truly a happy end?

Invest your powerstones today and we can remove all the villains from every novel.

The bad sales pitch aside, did you not realise that just throwing characters at this story would not help? Look, many people want this to be over and I could not blame them, but as long as you gave the System stupid ideas, stupid content is what you would get.

You also could think a little more instead of writing "Insert character X into your story to do Y".

Though my hope for WN readers to use their brains for activities other than imagining bouncing boobs was slim to nonexistent.

Glace might be a very good character in her novel, but what was her meaning in this story? She was merely a tool to showcase that strength without direction was no strength at all.

Or to dumb it down to the best of my ability: OP in the story did not mean OP for the story.

As simple as it might sound, a novel needed more to it than just abilities, which gave powerscalers nightmares for years to come. A cultivation novel required its young masters and not superheroes. The apocalypse needed its zombies and mutated creatures. The slice-of-life stories needed a new author.

In the end, one ought to be careful whom you let join in your very own story.

This was as much of a life lesson as it was an order to not send any more stupid characters for me to put in mine. Live your life as if you could be turned to glass by a random OP character named Grace tomorrow.

Sadly, the infamous RL was not an idle game, you guys had to do stuff actively and not just press buttons in hopes of getting good RNG,

Each and everyone was spawned with a different class and set of perks. The DNA distribution, otherwise known as "Gene-roulette" was really unfair and unbalanced. Spawnpoints, were literally all over the world and if one had the worst type of luck, they could also be born as a female lead in webnovels.

Casual sexism aside. There was no server choice, the game was rigged and p2w from the very start. Currently, it has over 7,753 billion active users, some have been grinding for generations. Sadly, the rebirth function was still stuck in beta and no patches were in sight.

Last 2 big ones had been the dinosaur meteor hotfix and the flood DLC with Noah's boat.

Since then the mechanics have been janky, the learning curve was highly unforgiving and the world became filled with newbs, who had no idea what the meta was.

The player base founded different guilds known as tribes and later on society to teach the new generations of newbies. Causing them to claim a certain territory as their own. What followed were many years of guild wars since people did not like their very neighbours very much.

At first, the weaponry was quite crude, but after many hours of crafting more refined weaponry came to use. Well, with the development of new tech, the standards of living also increased.

Though this caused everyone to receive a global warming debuff─causing the random events such as hurricanes, droughts and tsunamis to happen much more frequently.

TLDR: very hard game; did not recommend.

The graphics were cool n'all ; unless you were spawned with the blind perk, but even that did not last long. I just wish the gaming experience would be more balanced around the casual gamers.

The game of life and, no, not the board game, was a cruel one.

Let us pray that they do not implement Gacha into it. My wallet could not bear it. Anyways, could anyone share an infinite money hack? I was sick of grinding experience!!!

How, about you guys grind the next chapter and read it? Until then enjoy your story fellas!
