Purple Flowers

Mar who is on the way to hunt, unexpectedly saw Noah, who is flying on the way to the tiger beast village.

While Noah happily carries a basket of eggs and a bunch of flowers, heard someone calling for him.

"Hey, bird brain. Where do you think you are going?" Mar told Noah.

Noah stopped mid-air, "Oh, if it isn't the careless mate." He replied. "I am on my way to give these eggs to Ren. Is she home?"

Hearing the words, careless mate makes Mar angry. "How dare you speak to me like that."

Noah grin, "You mock me first. I don't want to waste my time on you, I wanted to visit Ren. Goodbye." He then flies going to the tiger beast village.

"How did he even know where we live? He must have followed us back home." Mar thought to himself.

He then hurriedly went back to the village to follow Noah.

Noah reached Mar and Ren's hut. He hesitated to knock at first. "What if I am too early to visit? What if she didn't like my presents? What if she didn't want to see me sooner?" All those thoughts came rushing to his heads.

He keeps walking back and forth in front of the door, attempting to knock.

"Is this a good idea? Am I too early? Are the eggs enough? Should I bring a meat instead?" He told himself.

He then heard some voices inside the hut. "Does she have a visitor?"

Before he knocks on the door, Mar holds his shoulder and stopped him.

"My mate has a visitor, can't you hear them having a happy conversation? It would be best not to bother them. " Mar said calmly.

Noah knows that Mar just doesn't want him to visit Ren. But he must be right. He doesn't want to bother Ren if she is this happy talking with someone. He can hear them laughing and giggling at each other inside.

Noah looked at Mar, "Even this muscle head went out just to give them space and time to have fun. It is best to leave, I guess" He thought to himself.

He then gives the basket to Mar. "You win, here's some eggs and some flowers that I know Ren would like. She keeps looking at them when we are in the cave. Please be kind and give this to her." He then flies and leave.

Ren noticed that there is someone talking outside the door so she decided to open it. When she opened it, she saw Noah flying away and Mar looking at Noah holding a basket.

"Hey there love, why is Noah leaving? Did you two fight? Oh please tell me you didn't." Ren said anxiously.

Mar doesn't want to tell Ren that he asked Noah to leave as she might get upset. "No, love. He heard you have a visitor so he decided to visit some other time." He then gives the basket to Ren. "He said to give this to you. He said that you like looking at this flowers."

Ren happily reached for the basket and looked at the eggs and the flowers. Those are the same purple flowers that Noah put on her ear before she left the cave.

Mar can see that Ren is really happy receiving those things from Noah and felt sad. But he couldn't show it. How can he show her that he is jealous and not happy about all this while his mates looks genuinely happy.

"Do you like those flowers?" He asked.

Ren who is smiling from ear to ear almost forgot that Mar is in front of her. "Oh, yes. I like this flower." She noticed the sadness in Mar's face. "Are you okay, dear? I forgot to ask you, why did you come so early? Are you done hunting"

Mar smiled to hide his sadness. He doesn't want to make Ren uncomfortable. "I'm okay love. I will go now and hunt. Do you want me to bring something? Would you like those big eggs that you always eat for breakfast? I will get some for you. I will be back soon." He kissed her on the forehead and leave.
