Ivy went to the door to see what Ren is holding. "Wow, those flowers look beautiful. Why did chief left again?" She has no idea that those flowers came from Noah.
"Ivy, I am being so insensitive. I feel that I made Mar very sad. He didn't want to show it, but I can feel it."
"Why did you say that?" Ivy replied.
"This eggs and flowers came from Noah. He came to visit, but he left because he thought I have a visitor and didn't want to bother us. But then when I took this basket from Mar knowing that this came from Noah, I can't help but smile. And I think that made Mar sad."
"Oh, I see. I understand. It's normal for chief to be sad, knowing that you are happy with a present that some other male gave you. I think he is jealous. He might be thinking that you may want Noah as a mate for you to look that happy, receiving those flowers"
Those words from Ivy stab Ren like a knife. "She is right. I'm so stupid." She thought to herself.
Both of them went inside and Ren put the basket on the table. She went and picked up Ezra and sat down on the chair besides Ivy.
Ren looks so serious that Ivy can't help but sigh. "There you go again looking so serious and all. What's the matter now?"
"It's just that, I don't like seeing Mar sad. And if thinking about Noah makes him sad, I think I should just forget about the guy and tell him not to visit anymore." Ren replied.
"You are forgetting something, aren't you?"
"Oh, yes, the promise. Then what should I do? Should I just ask him what he wants me to do so it will all be over soon?"
"You are just going to make things more complicated. Have you forgotten what the chief just said? That Noah might want to be your mate?"
"Then what now? I'm so confused."
"Just let things move the way it needs to be. You are not even sure what Noah wanted. So I suggest you relax and talk to chief about it. I'm pretty sure he will understand you. After all, he loves you very much."
Ren kissed little Ezra on the cheek and smiled. "I guessed you're right. I'll just talk to Mar and then think of things that can make him happy."
"That's the spirit. Well then, I'll be going now. I'll see you soon."
Ivy left, and then Ren sitting down at the table still thinking of things that can make Mar happy.
"What should I do to make daddy happy?" She told little Ezra.
Night falls and Ren is still waiting for Mar to come home.
"It's already dark and Mar still isn't here. Where did he go? I'm starting to get worried."
She went to the kitchen and prepare some food for them while waiting for Mar to come home.
Mar came back, holding a boar and a bunch of big eggs. "I'm home love."
Hearing Mar's voice from the kitchen, Ren runs to the door and hug Mar. "You're late, I was worried about you." She then kissed Mar on the cheek.
Mar smiled, "I'm sorry love, I was looking everywhere for this egg. I know that they are your favorite so I made sure to bring some for you."
Ren is so touched by the thought of Mar finding those eggs for her. She knows that Mar is jealous of Noah and she doesn't want him to think more about him. "Thank you, love. I really like these eggs. I think I am just going to give those little eggs to Ivy when she came back." Pointing at the eggs on the table which Noah brought in the morning.
Mar feels happy hearing those words from Ren. It's like a heavy burden is lifted from his chest. He can't explain what he wants to feel right now. A tear fell down from his face.
He kissed Ren on the lips. "Okay love. Let's do that."
Ren smiled and hug Mar. "Come on, put down the boar and clean yourself dear. I will fix the table so we can eat dinner."
The couple eats dinner happily.
