Meeting the elders

The next day comes and Ivy visits the couple again.

Ren happily greeted Ivy. "Welcome back."

"Wow, you look like in the mood today." Ivy said smiling.

Ren gets closer to Ivy and whisper in her ears. "I made Mar happy last night by telling him that I will give you those eggs that Noah gave me. So please accept it. Okay?"

"Oh, got it."

The two have a long girly talk while Mar is playing with Ezra.

On the cave in his hut, Noah is feeling uneasy. He wants to visit Ren, but thinking that maybe he will be just bothering her if he did.

He went outside of his hut and fly inside the cave, roaming around looking for someone who can talk to.

Finally he saw his cousin Ben picking some herbs.

He flies down and landed in front oh Ben. "Hey Ben, what you up to."

"Oh, hi Noah. Nothing, just picking some herbs to put on my scratches."

"How in the world did you get those scratches" Noah asked.

"Well, you know how grumpy those birds on the top of the cave. I was trying to get some eggs for my meal."

"Oh, yeah. They were a little bit grumpy too yesterday."

"You must be the one that gets too many eggs that made them to be too grumpy. Why are you here anyway? It's very rare for you to be staying in the cave for too long."

"About that, I wanted to talk to you about something. I hope you can give me some insight on what to do."

"What is it? You look so serious."

Noah sits in front of Ben. "The thing is I save this girl falling from the cliff. She is a very nice girl and also gentle. She is so pretty that I can't stop thinking about her. After saving her, she promises me that she will do anything for me if I come to her."

"Isn't that supposed to be a good thing? Why the serious face though?"

"I think I like her, or much worse, I think I've fallen in love with her." Noah explained.

"Since when that falling in love is a bad thing?"

"Come on, don't be an idiot. You know that we have a bad image of being a barbaric beast. Female don't usually like us or should I say they are afraid of us if they don't know about our clan."

Ben felt pity towards his cousin. He knows well what Noah is talking about. "It's because of those rumors that other beast spread for the females to avoid us."

"Exactly, why do those other beasts hate us so much?"

"You're so young that's why you don't understand a thing."

"Care to explain?" Noah said, looking confused.

Ben sighs. "Come with me and let's go to the elders. It's better if they are the one to explain this kind of things. I don't want to give misinformation."

They both stand up, stretch their wings and fly going to the elder's hut.

They've reached the hut of one of the clan elder.

Ben knocks on the door. "Elder Benjamin, good day."

An old man opens the door.

Both Noah and Ben pay their respects by bowing and putting their right hands on their chest.
