The only boy who can't use magic

" Vernon, did you see him?", asked a fair girl named Evelyn, with a svelte figure, brown eyed and brunette haired, where her face seemed to be a type any person would love to interact.

It was too loud at the play area, where students of different ages played with huge noises.

Closing his ears through his index fingers, vernon talked to her in a very loud voice, a bit close to her ears," I don't know! It's freakingly bad if his dad get's to know about this. Why are they too loud today?", he asked irritably.

They both sighed and watched the busy ground worried about their best friend.

A night had passed since Edmund was sent to Bleakville, which his close ones weren't aware of.

Mendus Jade academy of Sorcery, is the only academy at Petulando, where all the childrens from Bord, Grakewood and Haverlake attended for years. Like its massive generosity, its appearance was something adored by the whole land.

Built centuries ago, the pale green academy was designed in way that could withstand heat and moisture for years. It always gave a feeling of satisfaction to the people, whenever they passed by it, as it had the tendency to pass on its rare earth beneficials to the mankind.

The academy was made out of Green Jadeite, the most expensive earth stone in the world. The beauty of Mendus Jade was on peak during the winter and at night, since the snow and light made the building look as if radiant.

" I fear if the board might send a word of notice to Mr. Zyke", said Evelyn fretfully.

While those friends were engrossed in a busy conversation, the whole seminary seemed joyous and bustling, which seemed like something important was going on.

The colourful ground showed students bracing their self for something, few cleaning the mess at the ground, few getting trained, girls busy screaming, magical spells getting broke off then and there.

It showed how people of Petulando lived their life for years, happy and adorable about their space.

It seemed like no one restricted the students from using magic. Spells were countless, hymns on a row and wafting were irresistable.

That was what the speciality of ogle, especially at Petulando. Petulans were crazy of magic and too it was not something constrained in their lifestyle.

They used Sorcery prosiacly, whenever they wanted, countless number of times with full freedom.

The land slowly embraced the month of May, a busy month for the academy. Sport feista's, Occult Vyings and most importantly, the dangerous contest for the selection of Sorcerer of the Year would happen.

While Vernon and Evelyn silently watched students play at the corner bench, they saw two girls approaching them, smiling bashfully in the sun.

Evelyn elbowed her friend at their sight, as Vernon got used by the restless fan following, since his childhood.

Girls would fall crazy for his appearance, who was considered the strongest and best sorcerer at a very young age. He was tall and wide shouldered, curly haired and hazel eyed, with a mesmerizing smile showing a dimple only at the left side.

Vernon was a very tough competition even to the seniors, while few hated him for being undeafeatable and popular among girls.

He ignored her elbowing and looked the other side, frowing his brows due to heat.

" Hi, Evelyn!", greeted a girl from among the two, who wore a short skirt and double pony tailed.

While she behaved coy, the one next to her seemed rude. She giggled at them both, trying to mock at their situation.

" Look's like your good for nothing friend is not with you. I might miss the fun from last year...", said the rude one by a annoying bratty behaviour.

Her words got to their nerves, which made them flinch back at her, even before she finished her words," Mind your words, you piggy face! Dare you utter a word about Edmund, you'd go home noseless!!!". Evelyn bawled in extreme rage.

At the sight of Vernon looking angry, the ponytailed girl felt panicked and upset by her friends behaviour. She elbowed her restlessly, asking her to stop messing around Vernon, which might leave a bad impression on her.

" Stop it, Lora! You're just selfish as your sister. You only care about vernon looking at your sluggish self, why not look at her rude words on me? She called me piggy, do you think I'd stay silent? You and your stupidity towards your crush!", yelled the rude girl, who felt completelyy fed up by Evelyn's harsh words.

Vernon wasn't like Evelyn, who could control his self nor argue. He's a man of action, who get's extra crazy when people talk bad about his loved ones. He raised from the bench holding his knees and said solfty ," This is getting me worked up! Take care guys, I'm dropping out from this useless fight".

That's it! It was fairly a two girl fight heremore, which would be something invincible and unstoppable.

" You spoiled everything, Otsul! Don't come to me asking sorry", the ponytailed girl named Lora, ran away from the spot, getting upset by her behaviour.

The rude girl still smirked at Evelyn, not taking care about her friend.

" Ooh! How unruly! I'm just impressed", exclaimed Evelyn, trying to bring out her anger towards her.

Decisively, Otsul is undefeatable. She does not get swayed about by emotions nor get worried about anyone's comment made on her.

" Look at you! Don't change the topic. It's your friend who galavanizes me by his inabilities. Hands with power, cuffed forever! Tch,tch, tch... how needy! I still remember how he reached the finish point like a pleb. Whenever I remember, it makes me laugh like crazy. While everyone ran venting out spells and hymns, he alone ran all the way dropping blood like sweat, hoping with one leg. Edmund is ofcourse strong. I accept".

A huge crowd behind laughed at her words, the ones who used to mock Edmund often.

" Yes, he's impressive! He respects his father and you guys just act it out! That's the difference between y'all and him, not magic!".

Suprisingly, the words of Evelyn silenced everyone out, as Edmund wasn't the reason for not venting out his Guild. It was his father who made people ridicule at his son's helpless situation.
