Chapter : 15 Caesar’s And Cleopatra’s Training 2/2.
Leo was separated from Layla and his individual training with one of legends of the way of the spear has started. The first week of training was the most hell like experience he had to endure. It was a method for him to understand how to breathe Mana from the universe itself. Most of the population thought it was a natural born gift for powerful archmages, however it was later found out that through extreme training one can connect to the universe and receive mana refuel from the higher existence known as mana. Mana potion were not needed for him/her once they learned Mana Breathing. Mana didn't enjoy so much having conversations with those that were not born with Mana Breathing for the reason that it wasn't natural and one with the universe, naturally one didn't received the gift from the universe rather robbed it. But if you did not have a divine bloodline, even if you understood Mana Breathing the consequences for your theft would be damaging to you. Men will become infertile and women as well. That's why most people did not recommend to commit theft against the universe if you are a being from the lower realms without a divine bloodline.
The first day Leo had to precisely breathe in and out on the surface of boiling lava. If he had taken a deep breath he will suffer internally, and if he had took a small breath he will suffer for more air. One needed to balance his breathing in order to unlock the first steps towards the connection between him and mana.
"Don't you have regrets for accepting my training? Even if you are a Night, you know yourself that you have limits, I suggest you to give up little fella." Caesar teased Leo in order to put a stray on his training path. The Mana Breathing training would be easy for someone such as a Night family member, that way Caesar had to reconstruct his plan for training someone like Leo. Playing mind
tricks and trying to break him mentally. He knew how much the Night family are overprotective over their family members and their knights. If he had put a huge stroll on Leo, then he knew he would become the number one enemy of the people he must never strangle with. Despite that he was ready to take that risk, he had huge hopes for Leo and his talent, a talent that made so many overpowered beings worried. As soon as he saw him, he knew that he needed to pass down his legacy to someone who could go higher than him and that person was surely Leon Heart Night The 7th.
"Regrets? I have many but I don't dwell on them. I will pass this training even if I die afterwards,I swear upon my family's name" Leo declared to Caesar confidently and greedy. Just how any ruler should be. A king without greed is even worse than a figurehead! A quote that formed Caesar entire life in what he is now. The answer he retrieved from Leo made him smile with excitement. Being aware that the future weeks will be far more interesting than they were meant to be.
The next 6 days Leo had learned how to breathe in and out with boiling lava, he became so good with it that he started playing chess with Caesar to pass time. And at the 7th day at night, Leo had succeeded in advancing the first steps towards the universe.
For the next week Leo had to lay down on a device Caesar constructed, it fit Leo's body perfectly. It will constantly eat on Leo's mana and forcing him to breathe in mana, clearly at the start he couldn't accept in any mana and for the first 3 days he felt like he wasn't himself, like he was missing life energy. As time went by, he caught up with mana slowly pushing some in his body and feeling better. After torturous 13 days Leo finally learned the skill "Breathing Mana" and he connected with Mana itself. At first Mana was bothered to see a player but then it bit it's tongue forcefully and acted politely. Because the man that learned Mana Breathing was Odin's descendant. It didn't want to make someone so big and powerful mad so it acted politely to Leo and granted him more understanding of itself. Leo did not comply or bully Mana, as he realized that he couldn't live without it currently and just order it around to obey him. He was far too weak for such feats. He needed to become stronger and learn faster. Nonetheless he had the magic apple of immortality. The Apple granted the eater longer life span and a better body than what he possessed. With the Apple the process of understanding Mana Breathing would be way easier for Leo, but the results wouldn't be as appalling if he hadn't achieved the skill without eating the magical Apple. He would receive far more if he ate it after he finished Caesar's training.
"I knew he possessed a freak talent, but to learn Mana Breathing in 13 days is unbelievable. It took me three weeks, but it took him 13 days. Truly terrifying…" Caesar had a inner monologue with himself, he didn't even realize he was staring at Leo.
"Um, so what's next to learn?" Leo asked Caesar. He was a bit scared from the stare he got from him.
"Right, now you will be learning my spear Art and my footwork art. You have 17 days to master it. I doubt that you will learn even 50% of it, however if you do I'll grant you something that will become extremely valuable to your future adventures." Caesar expressed each single thought he had in his head to Leo and gave him the Ancient Scrolls that contained his personal footwork and spear art.

The ranks of the Ancient Scrolls go from 0 stars to 8 stars. To find a rank 5 Ancient Scroll is impossible. The chances are 0,0012 %. That's why they are considered overpowered. Did Leo have luck? Obviously not, he had knowledge he shouldn't have and received techniques that only less than 10 players had in his previous life. Leo grabbed the scrolls and studied them. Time was a factor he didn't had, he needed to hurry and understand them. Sleeping wasn't an option anymore as well. Each day passed faster even with the boost of being Odin's descendant in 10 days he only learned 75% of the Spear Art and 59% of the Footwork Art. Contrary to Leo's disappointed Caesar's eyes have widened in disbelief. Sure it took him 20 days to create the Arts and it took him 10 days to completely learn the Spear Art and 12 days to completely learn the Footwork Art. His speed of understanding the Arts was normal, since he had created them. But in front him was standing a newcomer who is on the path to learn both of his Arts with ease.
Caesar gulped in fear, had it not been for Leo's talent who knows what would the Night family do to him. Even the head of the family and the oldest sibling didn't had this much talent as Leo. He knew that each sibling was supposed to be better than the older one, however that wasn't achieved in 5 generations. And here Leo was learning an art that he did not create with the same speed as if he did create the art.
After 17 days Leo had mastered the scrolls, he was disappointed in himself. He expected to be way more faster than the time he mastered the scrolls. "Damn it" Leo bit his tongue in anger for his own failure. Was he aiming too high? Perhaps, but humans know no bounds. Their greed for power and money are boundless.
"Unbelievable, I am beyond impressed with how well you passed this monthly training, here I will give you this for accepting my arts and mastering them." Caesar spoke with a loud tone.

Layla has finished her monthly training amazingly, she had learned 60% of the 5 stars Arts she got from Cleopatra and learned Mana breathing in 17 days. She was walking beside her mentor to see her master she has missed so much. She was like a child waiting to get ice cream with her parents, as soon as she saw her master she ran to him and tackle hugged him to the ground. The first difference she saw was that her master looked way more beautiful than before. It made her appreciate Caesar a lot more, because that man turned her master in a far more beautiful man than he once was.
