It hurt like hell when Alpha Micah realized that he had to let go of the love of his life, because he was waiting for the impossible to happen. 

Hazel has died and even though his mind told him to let go, his heart told him to hold on. 

How is he supposed to forget all the memories that they created together? How is he supposed to forget all of that? How is he supposed to forget about her…?

Early in the morning, when the sun just appeared on the horizon, a small entourage that was ready to depart was in front of the inn.

Just like what Hazel had hoped, Micah took her suggestion seriously and decided to go back to the river. For Micah, this could be a solution for the problem, since it happened twice and he failed to see another solution aside from killing them all.

Therefore, there was nothing to lose by listening to what Hazel suggested, but the other people, who didn't know about it, thought this was a ridiculous idea and they saw Hazel in a slightly unpleasant light for giving such an idea.

Hazel could feel their displeased gazes directed at her and this made her nervous as hell. Even she herself had some doubts. Probably it would have been better if she did not say anything during the meeting.
