I was momentarily distracted from the book I was reading when Dubhan woke up from his nap and was bothering me to let him out of the quarters. So, as much as it took me a lot of effort to put down the book, I had no choice but to take my little dragon outside before he started rampaging around and burning all the things inside the quarters.

After telling Callum and Edric to keep an eye on my dragon, I immediately came rushing back to the quarters and picked up the last part I was reading.

The story of Queen Deianira got me so hooked. I don't know if this was true or just some random legend, and I think I may have an idea where this will lead, given all the visions she had whenever she touched the prince.

Flipping through the pages, picked up the lines where I had left off and started reading again.
