We pulled up to the Camden High School stadium. It was packed. The flood lights over the field lit up the entire area as though it were 2oclock in the afternoon. Cheerleaders stretched and practiced on the sidelines and waves of maroon and white Westhaven supporters flooded into the stadium while royal blue and silver dressed Camden students overflowed the already crowded bleachers. Everyone was heading from the parking lot and up to the field. Parents walked the younger siblings of tonight’s’ players to the concession stand for pre-game snacks. This was the perfect meet-up. It was nearly impossible to find someone you knew let alone someone you didn’t.
Luna pulled the car to a stop right outside of the field entrance.
“Thanks Luna.” Carson smiled turning back to her.
